According to Odaily, Starknet ecosystem's perpetual contract decentralized exchange, Paradex, announced on its maintenance page that the team has identified the root cause of the current issue. They plan to roll back the chain state to block height 1604710, which corresponds to 04:27:54 UTC. This block represents the state before database maintenance began and is confirmed as the last normal state.

Paradex has released an investigation report on the incident that occurred on January 19. According to Foresight News, during a database upgrade and maintenance, a race condition during service restart led to data corruption, which was published to the Paradex Chain. This resulted in the reset of some market funding rate indexes and abnormal liquidations. The company decided to roll back the chain state to the snapshot before maintenance and canceled all orders except for take-profit and stop-loss orders.
Within 24 hours, Paradex audited the affected accounts and refunded a total of $650,000 to 200 accounts from the Liquidator Vault. This incident marked the first rollback operation on the Paradex Chain. Enhanced service restart procedures, additional data validation safeguards, and price range protection measures during post-only periods have been implemented.
