Event Horizon, a leading-edge platform in the Web3/blockchain space, is in search of a talented Backend Developer who can write low latency financial software that processes billions of dollars in trading volume daily. This role offers you a chance to be part of an innovative team poised to impact a billion-dollar industry.
▪️ Responsibilities:
- Write low latency financial software, including order book matching engines and trading engines.
- Build high-performance REST & WebSocket APIs.
- Develop open-source TypeScript clients for on-chain smart contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the best overall product.
▪️ Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer: 3+ years of full-time development.
- Secure, efficient, high-quality code writing with solid computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, Docker.
- Ability to quickly master new technologies.
- Experience building DEX Perp applications and smart contracts.
▪️ Nice to Have:
- Experience working on high-quality products in the finance or security space.
- Skills in building Web Services, SQL, CSS, React, Redux.
- Strong interest in decentralized finance.
