💚 Chumbi in 2026 💚

I want to start this year off with a focus on communication and transparency.

At the end of 2024, a number of crypto projects were victims of a sophisticated crime syndicate that was targeting hard working and vulnerable indie dev teams, draining their vital funds, via impersonation.. unfortunately Team Chumbi was one of the victims of this scam..

2025 was spent surviving on the limited funds that Team Chumbi had left.. Team Chumbi thinned down, we focused on mini games (for revenue), networking, the marketing plan, and investors.. 2025 was difficult, but a great deal of progress was made and a strong narrative was being built around the roadmap and planned launches.

However, all of this was not enough to allow us to fully recover from the scam, and this meant that Team Chumbi slowly became basically just me..

But don't worry gang, the majority of what was announced in 2025 is still the current plan! ^^ it is just being temporarily delayed due to our financial situation.

The global vision of Chumbi is still my calling, and I can easily see Chumbi still being my passion for 10+ more years!.. so this means that everything that we dreamt of in the Chumbi Universe will still become a reality, even if I have to develop it all solo..

That said, I will still be attempting to re-build Team Chumbi with both new and old, so please reach out to me via DM if you have any time or ability to contribute to Chumbi to help us speed up progress.

Key Points:
* Jelly Jump is making progress on the iOS launch, but it is being slowed down because there is already a game called "Jelly Jump" on the app store

* Mini Match is still being developed by my Brazilian team, expect launch in late Jan

* Ultimately, JJ & MM will be on both Google Play & Apple App Store very soon, fully monetised, and earning revenue which will grow with our player base

* Mini game revenue will support dev of Chumbi Valley
