🚨 BREAKING: CDC updates childhood vaccine schedule, narrowing universal recommendations.

The update reclassifies several vaccines based on risk, exposure, and individual benefit. Some vaccines remain universal. Others shift to high-risk groups or shared clinical decision-making.

The immunizations based on shared clinical decision-making are for rotavirus, COVID-19, influenza, meningococcal disease, hepatitis A, and hepatitis B.

The CDC also calls for more placebo-controlled trials and observational studies to better inform families, providers, and help restore trust in public health.
