Цена популярных устройств для добычи биткоина неуклонно падает на вторичном рынке. Аналитик The Block Мэтью Ямамото связывает это с тем, что многие участники рынка ожидают существенного снижения доходности операций после майского халвинга.
☝️Проанализировав данные сервиса Kaboomracks, ориентированного преимущественно на североамериканских потребителей, Ямамото выявил начавшееся в июле существенное снижение цены популярного устройства Antminer S9 от Bitmain.
🔸Эксперт уверен, что стоимость майнингового оборудования снизилась не только из-за падения цены BTC во втором полугодии, но и вследствие роста хешрейта и, соответственно, сложности добычи криптовалюты.
Ориентировочно 12 мая награда майнеров за добытый блок уменьшится вдвое. Если до этого времени цена BTC существенно не вырастет, халвинг крайне негативно скажется на деятельности майнеров.
Еще одним фактором стремительного снижения цен майнеров может быть насыщение рынка устройствами нового поколения. В частности:
▪️ Argo Blockchain недавно получила 3616 устройств Antminer T17, поставка еще 6384 таких майнеров ожидается уже в этом месяце;
В ноябре MGT Capital обзавелась 320 устройствами Antminer S17 Pro, а в декабре получила еще 1100 таких устройств.
▪️Мощности Riot Blockchain увеличились благодаря 3000 устройствам S17 Pro, еще 1000 таких майнеров компания получит в этом месяце;

The price of popular devices for mining Bitcoin is steadily falling in the secondary market. The Block analyst Matthew Yamamoto attributes this to the fact that many market participants expect a significant decrease in the profitability of operations after the May halving.
☝️After analyzing the data of the Kaboomracks service, which is mainly aimed at North American consumers, Yamamoto revealed a significant reduction in the price of the popular Antminer S9 device from Bitmain, which began in July.
🔸Expert is confident that the cost of mining equipment has decreased not only due to the fall in BTC prices in the second half of the year, but also due to an increase in the hashrate and, accordingly, the difficulty of mining cryptocurrency.
Roughly on May 12, the miners' reward for the mined block will be halved. If until this time the price of BTC does not significantly increase, halving will have a very negative effect on the activities of miners.
