В период с середины ноября от 600 до 800 тысяч ASIC-майнеров биткоина прекратили добычу в связи со снижением цен и хэшрейта сети, подсчитали специалисты одного из крупнейших майнинговых пулов.
🔺В интервью CoinDesk основатель F2Pool Мао Шисин (Mao Shixing) сказал, что оценка компании основана на общем снижении хэшрейта сети и средней вычислительной мощности старых майнинговых машин, у которых возможны проблемы с прибыльной работой.
❗️Согласно данным blockchain.info хэшрейт сети биткоина c 10 ноября по 25 ноября снизился с примерно 47 млн TH/s до 42 млн TH/s — приблизительно на 10%.
По словам Мао, большинство майнеров, которые предположительно остановили деятельность, скорее всего использовали устаревшие модели, такие как Antminer T9+ от Bitmain и AvalonMiner 741 от Canaan Creative. Данные ASIC-майнеры имеют среднюю хэш-мощность около 10 TH/s и по оценке сейчас могут работать только в убыток.
F2Pool также зафиксировал у себя падение хэшрейта более чем на 10%, отметил Мао.
