Стартап Dfinity, занимающийся облачными вычислениями, представил LinkedUp – открытую и децентрализованную версию социальной сети для поиска и установления деловых контактов LinkedIn.
✔️LinkedUp работает на базе децентрализованного «интернет-компьютера» Dfinity, а не на частных платформах, таких как Amazon AWS или Google Cloud. При этом сеть LinkedUp не управляется и не принадлежит какому-либо правительству или корпорации.
Представители Dfinity подчеркнули, что пока не собираются запускать LinkedUp и соперничать с именитым конкурентом. Платформу представили для того, чтобы продемонстрировать простоту и скорость создания приложений на базе «интернет-компьютера».
🔽Разработчики смогут создать собственные версии мессенджеров WhatsApp или Viber, а также свои социальные сети, интернет-магазины и так далее. По словам представителей стартапа, на разработку LinkedUp ушло всего три недели, при этом работали над ней «полтора инженера».

Cloud computing startup Dfinity introduced LinkedUp, an open and decentralized version of the social network for finding and establishing LinkedIn business contacts.
✔️LinkedUp works on the basis of the decentralized "Internet computer" Dfinity, and not on private platforms such as Amazon AWS or Google Cloud. However, LinkedUp is not managed or owned by any government or corporation.
Representatives of Dfinity emphasized that they are not going to launch LinkedUp and compete with the eminent competitor. The platform was introduced in order to demonstrate the simplicity and speed of creating applications based on the "Internet computer".
🔽Developers will be able to create their own versions of WhatsApp or Viber instant messengers, as well as their social networks, online stores and so on. According to startup representatives, the development of LinkedUp took only three weeks, while “an engineer and a half” worked on it.

As a result, several commercial companies created a monopolistic and closed Internet.
