Они работают на попутном газе, сжигание которого становится настоящей проблемой для добывающей промышленности в свете ужесточения климатических требований.

The American company Compass Mining is urgently selling some of the ASIC miners purchased with customer investments. Under the hosting services agreement, the equipment is placed on the most favorable terms in Siberia by a partner of BitRiver.
📌The cold climate and the underutilization of the capacities of Siberian hydroelectric power plants opened up prospects for Russia to take the place of Kazakhstan, whose energy system could not cope with the influx of miners from China.
At the end of the week, the US Department of the Treasury placed BitRiver on the list of sanctions prohibiting partnerships primarily for US companies. Compass Mining risks falling under secondary sanctions, losing access to financial transactions, if it continues to cooperate.

They operate on associated gas, the flaring of which is becoming a real problem for the mining industry in light of the tightening of climate requirements.
