В свою очередь, представители Nano Foundation заявили, что обладают «вескими доказательствами», что кража средств стала возможной из-за уязвимости в программном обеспечении биржи BitGrail. Более того, организации основала фонд, призванный помочь жертвам взлома вернуть свои средства.

The Italian currency exchange BitGrail will not be able to resume operations in the near future, despite the efforts made by its creators, CCN reports.
☝️As the newspaper notes, on May 17 the court of Florence upheld a preliminary decision prohibiting the trading platform. The latter is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.
"The decision was made in accordance with the request of the legal company BonelliErede, acting on behalf of 3000 BitGrail users trying to recover their funds.
✔️Fromano, the founder of the Francesco trading platform, The Bomber, blames the February 17000.000 XRB (Nano / RaiBlocks) developers of this crypto currency. According to Firano, the developers left in the protocol Nano a vulnerability that allows attackers to withdraw funds from the BitGrail exchange.
In turn, representatives of the Nano Foundation said they have "strong evidence" that the theft of funds was possible because of a vulnerability in the software BitGrail. Moreover, the organization founded a foundation to help victims of hacking return their funds.

Representatives of the company say in their tweet that on January 14, the platform on which digital assets of about $ 1 million are traded “has become a victim of security vulnerabilities.”
🔺 The message states that hacking has led to "significant losses", but the exact data on the stolen cryptocurrencies are not disclosed at the moment.
Only thirteen hours earlier, the company stated that it was “carrying out unscheduled maintenance”, which already served many users as a warning that the company was probably the victim of hacker hacking. As soon as the senior management of Cryptopia learned of the incident, this step was deemed necessary for the staff to assess the damage.
✅After the incident, a team of Cryptopia employees, mainly based in New Zealand, contacted the relevant authorities, including the local police and the “High-Tech Crime Division”.
