СПбГУ входит в объединение образовательных учреждений, где также состоят несколько крупнейших российских вузов — Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет телекоммуникаций, Санкт-Петербургский политехнический университет, Сибирский федеральный университет, Пермский государственный национальный исследовательский университет. Также к нему присоединился университет Ставангера в Норвегии. Объединение занимается разработкой образовательных программ, связанных с DLT.
🔺В ноябре московский технологический университет МИСиС объявил о создании специального центра, который займется разработкой стандартов квантовой коммуникации и систем защиты данных с помощью квантовой криптографии.
