На заседании финансового комитета Госсовета КНР, впервые публично был озвучен запрет майнинга Bitcoin. В первую очередь он коснется шахт, использующих энергию угольных электростанций из-за дешевой стоимости киловатта.
Подобные расценки может обеспечить только Иран, где майнинг официально регулируется законодательством, гарантирующему свободный обмен Bitcoin, добытых на территории страны.
По сведениям Elliptic, этот шаг позволил иранским властям получить до миллиарда долларов дополнительных бюджетных доходов. Сейчас на страну приходится до 4,5% добычи Bitcoin, но энергетический потенциал электростанций, позволяет нарастить эту долю минимум в пять раз.

☝️Снятие санкций запустит совместные проекты КНР и Ирана по запуску электростанций на попутном газе нефтяных месторождений, оборудование для которых невозможно было завести в страну. Этот вид энергии значительно удешевит майнинг и откроет возможность передислокации оборудования «майнеров-беженцев» из китайских провинций Синьцзян и Внутренней Монголии.

At a meeting of the Financial Committee of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the ban on Bitcoin mining was publicly announced for the first time. First of all, it will concern mines using the energy of coal-fired power plants due to the cheap cost of a kilowatt.
Such prices can only be provided by Iran, where mining is officially regulated by legislation that guarantees the free exchange of Bitcoin mined in the country.
According to Elliptic, this move allowed the Iranian authorities to receive up to a billion dollars in additional budget revenues. Now the country accounts for up to 4.5% of Bitcoin mining, but the energy potential of power plants makes it possible to increase this share at least five times.
☝️Chinese companies were among the first to receive a mining license, the development of their mines is supported by a division of the country's elite armed forces, the IRGC. The military has its own farms and joint projects with miners in China.
Now this cooperation can reach a new level. Iran has used BTC and mining as a way to circumvent sanctions that hinder the export of equipment and the operation of foreign firms within the country. Soon this problem will disappear, the United States is ready to abandon the embargo on oil production and operations of the Central Bank.
