Армянский концерн Multi Group и международная компания Omnia Tech запустили в Ереване одну из крупнейших в мире майнинговых ферм. Оборудование, включающее 3 тысячи устройств для добычи биткоинов и Ethereum, размещены на втором этаже бизнес-центра информационных технологий. В дальнейшем технопарк фермы планируют увеличить до 120 тысяч майнинговых устройств. По словам главы Multi Group Гагика Царукяна, инвестиции в создание фермы составили $50 млн.
📍На торжественное открытие фермы прибыли бизнесмены из Китая, Южной Кореи, ОАЭ, а в ближайшие дни ее ожидает посещение еще 40 иностранных деловых гостей.

☝️Напомним, в конце августа стало известно, что ЗАО “Экос” (ECOS) получило одобрение правительства Армении по заявке на открытие свободной экономической зоны с дата-центром для майнинга в Раздане. Помимо 4,3 га производственной территории возле Разданской ТЭЦ организаторы СЭЗ также получат 2 тысячи кв. м. под административную часть в Ереване. Предварительные инвестиции Экос составят $4 млн. Кроме того, со стороны бенефициаров СЭЗ планируется привлечь $15 млн инвестиций до 2021 года, а в дальнейшем – еще до $30 млн.
