Построенный с нуля блокчейн, позволяющий пользователям заключать конфиденциальные контракты, официально вступил в стадию тестирования.
Стартап Engima осуществил тестовый запуск своей собственной технологии, разработанной в MIT Media Lab. Напомним, что WhitePaper проекта, изначально нацеленного на сектор хедж-фондов, была опубликована еще в 2015 году. Enigma является одним из самых старых стартапов в индустрии.
🔽Таким образом, технология модифицированных смарт-контрактов, скрывающая источники транзакций, и позволяющая блокчейну просчитывать контракты без их дешифровки, стала на шаг ближе реальному использованию.
Тем не менее, разработчики поспешили умерить ожидания сообщества, ссылаясь на то, что технология является новинкой:
🔺 “Мы признаем, что разработка такого рода инновационных технологий — это не линейный, непрерывный и итеративный процесс. Мы не просто делаем форк существующей платформы – мы создаем нечто совершенно новое и необходимое, что-то, что займет (и занимает) много людей, много дней и ночей”.
Даже несмотря на то, что разработка находится в ранних стадиях, интерес к проекту уже начал проявляться со стороны крупных компаний. Так, ранее в этом месяце Enigma объявили о том, что дальнейшая разработка платформы и построенных на ней приложений будет идти совместно с техническим гигантом Intel.
❗️После запуска TestNet, Enigma планирует воплотить в жизнь MainNet в течение следующих трех месяцев.

Startup Engima carried out a test launch of its own technology, developed at MIT Media Lab. Recall that the WhitePaper project, originally aimed at the hedge fund sector, was published as early as 2015. Enigma is one of the oldest start-ups in the industry.
🔽Therefore, the technology of modified smart contracts, which hides the sources of transactions, and allows the contractor to calculate contracts without decrypting them, has become a step closer to real use.
Nevertheless, the developers hastened to moderate the expectations of the community, referring to the fact that the technology is a novelty:
🔺 "We recognize that the development of such innovative technologies is not a linear, continuous and iterative process. We do not just forge the existing platform - we create something completely new and necessary, something that will take (and occupies) many people, many days and nights. "
Even in spite of the fact that the development is in the early stages, interest in the project has already begun to manifest itself on the part of large companies. So, earlier this month Enigma announced that further development of the platform and the applications built on it will go together with the technical giant Intel.
