Комиссия по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC) отклонила заявление управляющей компании WisdomTree на регистрацию спотового биткоин-ЕTF.
Ведомство сослалось на отсутствие соглашений о совместном надзоре и неспособность пресечь мошенническую или манипулятивную практики на спотовом рынке.
🔺«Комиссия пришла к выводу, что BZX альтернативная платформа Чикагской биржи опционов, совместно с которой WisdomTree подала заявку не смогла в соответствии с законом о ценных бумагах и процедурными правилами показать, что ее заявление соответствует требованиям Раздела 6(b)(5) закона», — говорится в сообщении.
▪️Схожие формулировки содержались в отказе SEC на листинг аналогичного инструмента от VanEck.
24 декабря Комиссия рассмотрит заявку на запуск спотового биткоин-ЕTF от Kryptoin. В дальнейшем — от Valkyrie Digital Assets, SkyBridge Capital с First Trust Advisors, Fidelity Investments, 21Shares с ARK Invest, Global X, Bitwise и Grayscale Investments.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has rejected an application from management company WisdomTree to register a spot Bitcoin ETF.
The agency referred to the lack of agreements on joint supervision and the inability to stop fraudulent or manipulative practices in the spot market.
🔺 “The Commission concluded that BZX the alternative platform of the Chicago Board Exchange with which WisdomTree applied for failed to demonstrate, in accordance with securities law and procedural rules, that its application complies with the requirements of Section 6 (b) (5) law ", - said in the message.
▪️Similar formulations were contained in the SEC's refusal to list a similar instrument from VanEck.
On December 24, the Commission will consider an application to launch a spot Bitcoin-ETF from Kryptoin. Further - from Valkyrie Digital Assets, SkyBridge Capital with First Trust Advisors, Fidelity Investments, 21Shares with ARK Invest, Global X, Bitwise and Grayscale Investments.
Grayscale admitted that the SEC violated the law in approving bitcoin futures ETFs.
Prior to that, Bloomberg analysts questioned the regulator's approval of the spot bitcoin fund previously ETF based on Ethereum derivatives traded on CME.
