Команда Ethereum активировала обновление Bellatrix. Апгрейд является последним шагом перед миграцией основной сети на алгоритм Proof-of-Stake (PoS).
Завершение The Merge запланировано предположительно на 15 сентября.
Накануне Bellatrix только около 73% нод Ethereum обновили версию ПО до актуальной. Большая доля не готовых работать в обновленной сети Beacon Chain пришлась на самый популярный клиент Geth.

После активации Bellatrix исследователь из Galaxy Digital Кристин Ким отметила некоторые статистические данные. По ее словам:
▪️ уровень участия в сети достиг 94,94%;
▪️ количество активных валидаторов составило 403 766 (еще 17 743 — офлайн).

The Ethereum team has activated the Bellatrix update. The upgrade is the last step before migrating the main network to the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) algorithm.
Completion of The Merge is scheduled for September 15th.
On the eve of Bellatrix, only about 73% of Ethereum nodes updated the software version to the current one. A large proportion of those not ready to work in the updated Beacon Chain network fell on the most popular Geth client.
❗️The update is designed to prepare the "signaling network" of Beacon Chain for the merger.
After activating Bellatrix, Galaxy Digital researcher Kristin Kim noted some of the statistics. According to her:
▪️ the level of participation in the network reached 94.94%;
▪️ the number of active validators was 403,766 (another 17,743 are offline).
