Предполагается, что благодаря активации протокола Sapling биржи и кошельки будут с большей готовностью поддерживать защищённые транзакции.
✔️Технический директор Zcash Натан Уилкокс (Nathan Wilcox) в разговоре с CoinDesk рассказал, что протокол Sapling позволит совершать экранированные транзакции, расходуя в 100 раз меньше памяти, и примерно в 6 раз быстрее.
В настоящее время экранированные транзакции могут совершать только те пользователи, которые управляют полными нодами.
❗️Команда Zcash также надеется, что с помощью хардфорка сможет окончательно удалить прозрачные транзакции, которые могут нарушать анонимность Zcash при одновременном использовании с экранированными транзакциями.
Конечным результатом обновления станет переход на этап «конфиденциальности по умолчанию», отметил Уилкокс.

“As you know, to solve this problem, the developers of Zcash plan to implement hardfork Sapling, which is designed to significantly improve the usability of the Zcash protocol. A large-scale upgrade is scheduled for launch on October 29th.
It is assumed that due to the activation of the Sapling protocol, exchanges and wallets will be more willing to support secure transactions.
Z Zcash Technical Director Nathan Wilcox, in a conversation with CoinDesk, said that the Sapling protocol will allow to perform shielded transactions, spending 100 times less memory, and about 6 times faster.
Currently, only users who manage full nodes can make shielded transactions.
ZThe Zcash team also hopes that using hard forks will be able to permanently remove transparent transactions that may violate the anonymity of Zcash when used simultaneously with shielded transactions.
The end result of the upgrade will be a transition to the “privacy default” phase, Wilcox noted.
