Разработчики платформы для создания одноранговых рынков предсказаний Augur представили вторую версию протокола. На данный момент код полностью готов к аудиту.
Так, в релизе содержатся масштабные изменения. Вторая версия протокола делает валютой торгов на рынках предсказаний стейблкоин DAI от проекта MakerDao, тем самым решая проблему волатильности ETH.
✔️Одновременно с этим разработчики добавили возможность делать ставки на недействительный исход. Если в первой версии протокола при невозможности определить вариант-победитель доли разделялись в равной пропорции между участниками рынка, то во второй пользователи смогут изначально поставить на такой исход.
📌Отметим, что цена токена REP, которая является переменной в формуле расчета комиссии так называемым репортерам-создателям рынков, отныне будет еженедельно определяться посредством децентрализованного двойного аукциона, когда лот DAI продается за REP и наоборот. Платформа также будет генерировать маленькие объемы новых токенов REP, что внедрит несущественную инфляцию для покрытия возможных убытков от таких аукционов.
✅Вероятно, одно из самых важных изменений во второй версии касается форков существующих рынков предсказаний. Теперь в случае форка у пользователей будет ровно 60 дней для участия и миграции в новые «вселенные», иначе они безвозвратно утратят свои средства.
Разработчики также приняли решение о сокращении окна для репортеров-создателей рынка на предоставление отчетности до 24 часов после закрытия рынка.
Во второй версии добавлена поддержка стандарта ERC-777, который является обратно совместимым с ERC-20, что позволит разработчикам использовать резервную функцию «tokensReceived«.
☝️Добавим, что в Augur намерены ограничить срок активности рынков, чтобы не подвергать опасности держателей токенов REP при переходе на новые версии протоколов в случае, если их активы заморожены на каком-то из рынков.

The developers of the Augur prediction peer markets presented the second version of the protocol. At the moment, the code is completely ready for auditing.
So, the release contains major changes. The second version of the protocol makes currency trading in the predictive markets of the steaklkoin DAI from the MakerDao project, thereby solving the problem of ETH volatility.
✔️At the same time, the developers added the ability to bet on an invalid outcome. If in the first version of the protocol, if it is impossible to determine the winning variant, the shares were equally divided between the market participants, then in the second version, users will be able to initially put on such an outcome.
📌 Note that the price of the REP token, which is variable in the formula for calculating the commission to the so-called reporters who created the markets, will now be determined weekly by means of a decentralized double auction when a DAI lot is sold for REP and vice versa. The platform will also generate small amounts of new REP tokens, which will introduce insignificant inflation to cover potential losses from such auctions.
✅ Probably one of the most important changes in the second version concerns forks of existing prediction markets. Now, in the case of a fork, users will have exactly 60 days to participate and migrate to the new “universes”, otherwise they will irrevocably lose their funds.
The developers also decided to reduce the window for market reporters to provide reports up to 24 hours after the market closes.
The second version adds support for the ERC-777 standard, which is backward compatible with ERC-20, which will allow developers to use the “tokensReceived” backup function.
☝️ Let's add that in Augur they intend to limit the period of activity of the markets in order not to endanger REP holders' holders when switching to new versions of protocols in case their assets are frozen in one of the markets
