Платформа Cred, предоставляющая услуги по кредитованию, объявила о внесении Ripple (XRP) в список поддерживаемых активов. Это позволит владельцам токенов Ripple брать кредиты в долларах США под залог их накоплений в криптовалюте. Об этом сообщается в официальном пресс-релизе.
Сооснователь Cred Дэн Шатт заявил, что держателям XRP предоставят «те же низкие тарифы, что и владельцам ETH и BTC». В свою очередь, основатель Arrington XRP Capital и известный инвестор в Ripple Майк Аррингтон отметил важность признания XRP в качестве актива.
Cred была основана в 2018 году бывшими финансистами из PayPal. На данный момент площадка предоставила кредиты организациям на сумму более $300 млн. Cred выдаёт займы под залог криптовалюты и использует блокчейн для защиты операций.
☝️Сейчас кредиты в фиатных валютах под залог виртуальных уже выдают американская компания Salt Landing, британская Nebeus, эстонская CoinLoan и гонконгская EthLend. В России этим занимается Р2Р-площадка Biterest, где пользователи выдают займы друг другу, а сервис выступает гарантом.

The Cred lending services platform announced Ripple (XRP) has been added to the list of supported assets. This will allow owners of Ripple tokens to take loans in US dollars on the security of their savings in cryptocurrency. This is reported in the official press release.
Cred's co-founder, Dan Shatt, said that XRP holders would be provided with “the same low tariffs as the owners of ETH and BTC”. In turn, the founder of Arrington XRP Capital and the well-known investor in Ripple, Mike Arrington, stressed the importance of recognizing XRP as an asset.
Cred was founded in 2018 by former PayPal financiers. Currently, the platform has provided loans to organizations amounting to more than $ 300 million. Cred issues loans on the security of cryptocurrency and uses the blockchain to protect operations.
