Разработчики проекта IOTA, сфокусированного на применении блокчейна в области Интернета вещей (IoT), объявили о скором запуске открытой тестовой сети протокола Coordicide, известного как IOTA 2.0.
❗️Руководство IOTA сообщило, что работает над важными обновлениями, которые выведут сеть на новый уровень. Запуск тестовой сети Coordicide состоится раньше, чем было запланировано, так как новая версия GoShimmer v.02.0 уже почти готова.
Главный научный сотрудник IOTA Foundation Анджело Капосселе (Angelo Capossele) написал в социальной сети Twitter, что Coordicide направлен на децентрализацию IOTA, а благодаря новой интеграции Grafana и Prometheus протокол станет заменой централизованного узла координатора в сети. Ранее Coordicide был интегрирован в февральское обновление IOTA 0.1.x. в качестве внутренней альфа-сети.

Однако она позволит не только собирать метрику в режиме реального времени, но и значительно ускорить итерацию между обновлениями.

The developers of the IOTA project, focused on the use of blockchain in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), announced the imminent launch of an open test network of the Coordicide protocol, known as IOTA 2.0.
❗️ IOTA management has announced that it is working on important updates that will take the network to a new level. The launch of the Coordicide test network will take place earlier than planned, as the new version of GoShimmer v.02.0 is almost ready.
IOTA Foundation’s chief fellow, Angelo Capossele, wrote on Twitter that Coordicide aims to decentralize IOTA, and with the new integration of Grafana and Prometheus, the protocol will replace the central coordinator node on the network. Previously, Coordicide was integrated into the February update of IOTA 0.1.x. as an internal alpha network.
☝️The update will work using the new “Parallel Reality-Based Ledger State” consensus model, operating on the principle of parallel reality. IOTA Foundation software developer Hans Moog explained that there might be minor defects in the Coordicide test network that need to be improved. However, it will allow not only collecting metrics in real time, but also significantly accelerating the iteration between updates.
