Международная компания Wirex объявила о получении лицензии E-money №902025 от FCA, регулятора финансового рынка Великобритании. В мире насчитывается всего три компании из сектора блокчейна и криптовалют, которые обладают этим разрешением.
🔸Ранее, весной 2018 года, лицензии E-money получили компании Coinbase и Circle, капитализация каждой из которых оценивается в районе $3 млрд.
🔺«Британский регулятор является одним из самых требовательных в мире и получение нами лицензии подчёркивает соответствие Wirex регулятивным стандартам Евросоюза в плане безопасности транзакций, качества предоставляемых услуг и бизнес-этики», – отметил генеральный директор и сооснователь криптобанка Wirex Дмитрий Лазаричев.
Лицензия также позволит криптобанку предоставлять клиентам услуги с меньшими затратами и осуществлять более оперативную и гибкую настройку сервиса за счёт исключения компаний-посредников.
Помимо этого, после получения лицензии компания сможет претендовать на прямое членство в VISA, что также даст возможность сократить транзакционные издержки при работе с карточными продуктами.
🔺«Лицензия E-money позволит нам обновить и сделать более доступными продукты для B2B. Например, в ближайшее время мы внедрим корпоративные счета в британском банке, а также наладим выпуск кобрендинговых карт с привязкой к ним криптовалютных кошельков. При этом мы сможем обслуживать юридические лица и вне ЕС, а для частных клиентов – значительно расширить возможности нашей платформы», – добавил сооснователь Wirex Павел Матвеев.
