Французская цифровая валюта (CBDC) может быть запущена на базе блокчейна Tezos.
☝️Как уточняет агентство РБК, испытаниями этого инструмента займется финансовый гигант Societe Generale, который получил соответствующее разрешение от Центробанка страны. Регулятор еще в прошлом году анонсировал создание качественно новой финансовой инфраструктуры.
📌Составным элементом такой системы выступит цифровое евро. Участники проекта намерены протестировать механизм обработки сделок с ценными бумагами с помощью CBDC.
Соглашение о партнерстве Societe Generale и Банк Франции заключили в середине лета этого года. В разработке цифрового евро также принимает участие компания Nomadic Labs. Эта команда входит в список участников экосистемы Tezos.

French Digital Currency (CBDC) could be launched on the Tezos blockchain.
☝️As the RBC agency clarifies, the financial giant Societe Generale, which has received the appropriate permission from the country's Central Bank, will test this instrument. The regulator announced the creation of a qualitatively new financial infrastructure last year.
📌The digital euro will be an integral element of such a system. The project participants intend to test the mechanism for processing securities transactions using the CBDC.
Societe Generale and the Banque de France signed a partnership agreement in the middle of this summer. Nomadic Labs is also involved in the development of the digital euro. This team is a member of the Tezos ecosystem.
✅In December last year, it became known that testing of the French token would begin in the first quarter of 2020. The press center of the Central Bank then noted that many financial institutions of the country will take part in the tests of the cryptocurrency.
