Несмотря на то, что опция 2FA существовала на Kraken с момента запуска в сентябре 2013 года, биржа решила сделать ее обязательной. Пользователям доступны два варианта: приложение Google Authenticator и аппаратное устройство Yubikey.

Kraken, one of the leading US cryptocurrency exchanges, has obliged users to establish two-factor authentication (2FA).
Although the 2FA option has existed on Kraken since its launch in September 2013, the exchange decided to make it mandatory. Two options are available to users: the Google Authenticator app and the Yubikey hardware device.
Note that the platform is also working on other enhanced security measures, which will be released in the future.
