🔺According to him, the transition may be delayed if the developers identify potential risks. In this case, the "merge" (passing the Merge phase) with the updated version may occur in September or October.
📌After switching to Ethereum 2.0, developers want to carry out many other upgrade steps: the Surge (to scale the network and increase the number of transactions), the Verge (to simplify the deployment of nodes), the Purge (to optimize the nodes and the amount of data needed to synchronize with network) and the Splurge (Ethereum Virtual Machine improvement, updates for EIP-1559, etc.).
