Представители Cboe Futures Exchange (CFE) объявили о том, что в марте они не планируют открывать на площадке новые контракты на bitcoin-фьючерсы. Свое решение команда платформы объяснила необходимостью формирования собственного подхода к работе с экосистемой криптовалют. Об этом пишет CNN со ссылкой на обращенное к инвесторам CBOE письмо.
🔺 «Команда CFE приняла решение не добавлять в марте фьючерсные контракты на bitcoin (XBT). Приостановка выпуска продолжится до тех пор, пока компания не определится со своим отношением к представлению цифровых активов. Активные фьючерсные контракты XBT (срок действия которых истекает в июне 2019 года) остаются доступными для торговли», — так пояснили ситуацию представители CBOE.
☝️Одновременно с решением CFE приостановить работу с XBT, на биржу был выведен ряд других инструментов, включая индекс волатильности. Вероятно, акцент в сторону работы с другими активами основан на падении объема торгов bitcoin-фьючерсами. Тем временем заявки на bitcoin-ETF от CBOE и ряда других компаний по-прежнему находятся на рассмотрении SEC.

Representatives of Cboe Futures Exchange (CFE) announced that in March they are not planning to open new contracts for bitcoin futures on the site. The platform team explained its decision by the need to form its own approach to working with the cryptocurrency ecosystem. CNN writes about this with reference to the letter addressed to the CBOE investors.
🔺 “The CFE team decided not to add bitcoin (XBT) futures contracts in March. Suspension of the issue will continue until the company determines its attitude to the presentation of digital assets. Active XBT futures contracts (which expire in June 2019) remain available for trading, ”representatives of the CBOE explained the situation.
☝️ Simultaneously with the CFE decision to suspend work with XBT, a number of other instruments were put on the stock exchange, including the volatility index. Probably, the emphasis in the direction of working with other assets is based on the fall in the volume of trading in bitcoin-futures. Meanwhile, applications for bitcoin-ETFs from CBOE and a number of other companies are still being reviewed by the SEC.
