✅The Reuters article notes that the bill should be presented at a meeting of the heads of the Central Bank and the finance ministers of the G7 countries - the USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Italy and the UK.
The authors of the document acknowledge that digital payments have several advantages, however, it is imperative that payment service providers such as Libra be controlled and regulated.
According to them, it is necessary to protect consumer privacy and ensure cybersecurity. In addition, the authors of the document fear that the Libra stablecoin can be used for illegal financial activities.
