Acting as emissaries of the head of state, they negotiated the creation of a stablecoin - Colon Dollar.
✅El Salvador is now in the spotlight of the global press, following the official approval of the launch of Bitcoin as the country's legal tender, scheduled for September.
Government officials have not confirmed plans to launch a stablecoin to El Faro reporters. However, numerous brothers of the president make up the "shadow cabinet" of El Salvador, while not occupying real leadership positions.
❗️The launch of the Colon Dollar is caused by possible fears of the ruling elite that the country will be subject to the sanctions regime. These are the inevitable consequences of launching the exchange of Bitcoin in commercial banks for fiat dollars. The FATF will blacklist El Salvador after the very first such transaction, which cannot guarantee compliance with the KYC and AML rules, opening up a wide field for money laundering.
📌Last month, the White House also warned the President of El Salvador about possible problems after the launch of Bitcoin.
