Разработчики Lightning Network сообщили пользователям о необходимости обновления программного обеспечения из-за выявления серьезной уязвимости. Речь идет о криптовалютном кошельке Eclair, с которого злоумышленники смогли вывести крупные суммы, принадлежащие нескольким юзерам.
🔺В ходе плановой проверки производительности Lightning Network удалось установить, что клиент lnd от Lightning Labs работает не корректно. Из-за этого при проведении транзакций с адресами кошельков Eclair от французского стартапа ACINQ злоумышленники могут получать доступ к данным. Всего было зафиксировано минимум 3 таких случая. Мы полностью обновили алгоритмы безопасности, ввиду чего настоятельно рекомендуем пользователям скачать апдейт и установить его на свои устройства», — рассказали специалисты Lightning Network.
Представители ACINQ отметили, что также решили вопрос с уязвимостью и поблагодарили разработчиков Lightning Network за активность и быстрое устранение проблемы. Пользователям порекомендовали установить апдейты Eclair 0.3.1 и Eclair Mobile 0.4.7, доступные на официальном сайте компании.

The developers of the Lightning Network informed users of the need for a software update due to the identification of a serious vulnerability. We are talking about the Eclair cryptocurrency wallet, from which attackers were able to withdraw large amounts belonging to several users.
🔺 During a routine performance check, the Lightning Network was able to establish that the lnd client from Lightning Labs is not working correctly. Because of this, when conducting transactions with Eclair wallet addresses from French startup ACINQ, attackers can gain access to data. In total, at least 3 such cases were recorded. We have completely updated the security algorithms, which is why we strongly recommend that users download the update and install it on their devices, ”said Lightning Network experts.
ACINQ representatives noted that they also resolved the vulnerability issue and thanked the Lightning Network developers for their activity and quick fix. Users were advised to install the Eclair 0.3.1 and Eclair Mobile 0.4.7 updates available on the company's official website.
