Democrat-run local elections boards in McDowell and Henderson counties have failed to approve additional early voting sites in the disaster stricken area, despite increasing calls for more access to voting. Both counties voted for Donald Trump in 2020.

Israel sent a message to Iran on Friday ahead of its retaliatory airstrikes warning the Iranians not to respond, three sources with knowledge of the issue told Axios.
"The Israelis made it clear to the Iranians in advance what they are going to attack in general and what they are not going to attack," one source told Axios. Two other sources said Israel warned the Iranians not to respond to the attack and stressed that if Iran does retaliate, Israel would conduct another more significant attack, especially if Israeli civilians are killed or injured. Today's journalists, much like trial lawyers, have a habit of cross examining their subjects with the intent to find weaknesses rather than find the actual truth of a matter. They also often ask questions already knowing what kind of answer they're going to get. It's not about getting the answer, it's about planting seeds.

An overall good article, but the North Korea bit was the most interesting to me. I continue to assume that the story about NK soldiers in Ukraine is made up, unless I see direct proof. As far as their presence in Russia's far-east goes, I don't think that's new. Is Russia helping them prepare for something else then?

Today's journalists, much like trial lawyers, have a habit of cross examining their subjects with the intent to find weaknesses rather than find the actual truth of a matter. They also often ask questions already knowing what kind of answer they're going to get. It's not about getting the answer, it's about planting seeds.
...As for the presence of North Korean troops in Russia, Putin doesn't deny it. Satellite images and some leaked video seem to show North Korean soldiers in training areas near the eastern coast of Russia, but this is thousands of miles away from the Ukrainian front.

Republicans from the House Committee on Oversight and Reform released a report Thursday on its investigation into the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s political warfare against the United States, which found the CCP has "entrenched" itself within the US and the Biden-Harris administration lacked any strategy to counter it.
Remember what I said about "CCP?" I said there's no such thing. It's CPC. I also explained what it means when you see it in an article. Remember who you're dealing with. As to this article, would anyone please explain which "political warfare" they mean? As much as I tried, I can't think of anything. Do they fly to Texas and try to convince them to secede? Do they arm their separatist wing of the National Guard? How about Chinese diplomats, do they openly support separatism in the US too? No? Who does that? Ooooooh, that's right! Blinken! Where are you?!
