ABC Moscow will take part in anarchist days in Dresden
Russia has never stopped politically motivated persecution of anarchists, but last years under Putin‘s regime, repression has reached a new level. The war against Ukraine and the 2022 laws have resulted in some 22 anarchists and anti-fascists behind bars today - and that's only those known to be behind bars. Some of them are accused of "creating a terrorist organization" or "preparing a terrorist attack."
We refuse to follow the liberal opposition and belittle the determination of our comrades. On the contrary, we consider it our duty to support those who dared to fight Putin's regime with radical methods.
The report will be presented by an anonymous supporter ABC Moscow

Cancellation of the concert in support of Ruslan Sidiki. Fires of freedom launches an urgent fundraising
Ruslan Sidiki, an anarchist partisan, is currently imprisoned in Russia. Fires of freedom is an anarchist collective that supports Ruslan and other anarchist prisoners in Russia.
The venue where a concert in support of Ruslan Sidiki was planned informed the organizers that all agreements were annulled and published a corresponding post on their channel. The concert was supposed to take place this Saturday at the K19 space in Berlin.
The K19 collective referred to an anonymous letter (we do not know its contents) concerning a member of Äppelwoi Komitee. The group had assisted in organizing the event, but the mentioned member was not going to attend the concert.
Whatever the claims against Äppelwoi Komitee, K19 can be simply requested to exclude them from the organization of the event. Instead, the K19 collective chose to punish everyone by following the worst repressive logics — depriving imprisoned anarchist partisan Ruslan Sidiki of crucial solidarity and support.
Fires of freedom had been counting on the funds from this concert, since in the coming days it is necessary to pay for Ruslan Sidiki’s lawyer for the next month (from September 15). Now these funds will not be available.
Ruslan Sidiki was sentenced to 29 years in prison for an attempted attack on a military airfield and sabotage of railway tracks used by the military. Ruslan sought to weaken the Russian war machine and resist Russian military aggression in Ukraine. After his arrest, Ruslan was brutally tortured. In the Ryazhsk detention center, where he was transferred after sentencing, he was again threatened with torture.
🚨 Fires of freedom urgently asks for your support for Ruslan in this situation. To protect him from torture and pressure, it is essential that his lawyer visits him regularly in the Ryazhsk detention center. In addition, Ruslan and his lawyer are preparing for the appeal. Legal defense requires funding.

Talks in London and Brighton on Anarchist Prisoners in Russia
On Saturday, September 20, the Anarchist Bookfair will take place in London — one of the main annual events of the anarchist movement in England. As part of the program, Antti Rautiainen will give a talk titled “Anarchism and Anti-War Resistance in Russia.”
Time: 11:00–12:45
Thousands of Russians continue to resist the invasion of Ukraine. In the first month of protests against the war, 15,000 people were detained. Small street actions are still taking place sporadically, though they face harsh repression. More than 300 people have been imprisoned for anti-war activity, including six anarchists and antifascists.
What are the current anti-war initiatives in Russia? How can the Russian anti-war movement, operating under ever harsher repression, be supported? Why has the anti-war movement in Russia so far failed to change the course of the war? Who are today’s imprisoned anarchists and antifascists in Russia, and how can they be supported?
Antti Rautiainen lived in Russia from 1999 to 2012, until he was deported on charges of “endangering the security of the Russian Federation.” In Russia, he took part in anarchist initiatives supporting prisoners, as well as other projects such as the Avtonom magazine.
Venue in London: Stage (26 Leake Street)
The next day, on Sunday, September 21, the same talk will take place at the Cowley Club Library in Brighton (address: 12 London Road).
Time: 12:30–14:30

Fundraiser to support anarchist Kirill Bobrov!
Anarcho-syndicalist from Ufa Kirill Bobrov has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for participating in the arson of the United Russia party office and for creating an "extremist community" in 2012.
The criminal case over the arson was opened 13 years ago. Kirill left the country at that time, but in 2023 he returned to Russia for personal reasons and was arrested right at the airport.
In the summer of 2025, Kirill told that he receives only minimal support from his relatives and needs books and warm clothing.
Basic help has been provided, but our resources are limited. Fires of Freedom -group has launched a fundraiser. For the next few months, we need to collect 60,000 rubles, circa 600 euros to send parcels to Kirill.
Support the fundraiser for Kirill Bobrov so he’s not left without help!

From Prison to Exile: Freedom, Solidarity, and Resistance. Meeting with Lev Skoryakin in Bologna
Lev Skoryakin is an anarchist, a former activist of the Left Bloc, a now disbanded network that brought together anarchists and Marxists for street protests. In 2022, after a symbolic action against the secret services, he was arrested but later released pending trial. He fled to Kyrgyzstan but was kidnapped and brought back to Russia. Eventually, Lev was sentenced to time already served plus a fine, after which he managed to escape to Germany.
Lev is actively involved in Fires of Freedom, a support group for anarchist, antifascist, and anti-authoritarian prisoners, founded this year after the Anarchist Black Cross was banned in Russia.
He will speak about the activities of Fires of Freedom, other prisoner support groups, and also about the case of Ruslan Sidiki — an anarchist guerrilla fighter, a dual Russian-Italian citizen, who was sentenced in May to 29 years in prison for guerrilla actions in Russia against the war and in support of Ukraine.

In Chita a new trial starts against Alexander Snezhkov
On October 22, 2025, the Second District Military Court in Chita will start hearing a new criminal case against anarchist Alexander Snezhkov. This time, he is charged under of “Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification, or propaganda of terrorism.” The article carries a penalty of up to 500,000 rubles (circa 5000 euros) in fines or two to five years in prison.
This is the second criminal case against Snezhkov. The first ended on April 25, 2024, when the First District Military Court, during an offsite session in Chita, sentenced him to six years in a penal colony. He was found guilty under the article on ”vandalism motivated by political hatred” for graffiti reading “Death to the regime.” He was also convicted under articles for calls to ”extremism” and ”terrorism” for administering anarchist Telegram channels. In November 2024, the appeal court reduced the sentence to five years and ten months.
Snezhkov was arrested in the fall of 2022 in Chita. The grounds for his arrest were graffiti and his administration of the Telegram channels “75zlo” and “Shugan-25,” which published news about anti-war protests, partisan actions, and animal rights.
The new criminal case was opened in January 2025 while Alexander was in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Chita. A fellow inmate cooperating with the administration was placed in his cell and began questioning him about the case. Their conversation was secretly recorded. Based on this recording, the FSB opened a new case against him for “justifying terrorism.”
The hearing will take place at Chita, Leningradskaya Street 100, courtroom No. 1. It will begin at 10:00 a.m. The judge is O. O. Dunyashin.
According to Alexander, the court may try to issue a verdict in a single session. He intends to fight to the end, but under the conditions of a military court—which has become a punitive institution—much has already been predetermined. In such cases in Russia, acquittals are almost unheard of.
Friends, journalists, and concerned residents of Chita are encouraged to attend the trial and show support for Alexander. He needs solidarity and human attention that is stronger than any wall. Even if the hearing is closed to the public, it is still important to come and show support.
You may write letters of support to Alexander.

Dmitry Osyagin Turned Out Not to Be an Anarchist — He Considers Himself an Anti-War Democrat
The Anarchist Black Cross of Moscow has received information that Dmitry Osyagin does not identify himself as an anarchist or an anti-fascist — he considers himself an anti-war democrat. The reason why the security services attributed to him participation in the “Combat Organization of Anarcho-Communists” (BOAK) is currently unknown. It may be due to the authorities’ desperation to announce the arrest of at least one member of this elusive underground organization.
To recall, activist Dmitry Osyagin was sentenced to 15 years in prison on charges of arson of a courthouse building in Kazan and publishing online statements allegedly calling for violence against the authorities and for “terrorist activity.”
The Anarchist Black Cross of Moscow supports anti-authoritarians and their supporters who are persecuted for their political activities or for acts that do not contradict the ideals of anarchism. Whenever possible, we also support prisoners who became anti-authoritarians during their incarceration, as well as so-called “social prisoners” — those who were forced to break the law for survival or in resistance to the despotism of the ruling class — and prisoners who fight against the prison-industrial complex from within.
We also seek to support the broader anti-war struggle, but due to the large number of anarchist prisoners, we are currently able to focus our efforts primarily on anarchist, anti-authoritarian, and anti-fascist anti-war prisoners.

Support the Legendary Anarchist Ilya Romanov
Former political prisoner and anarchist Ilya Romanov is in need of our help. After 20 years of imprisonment in Ukraine and Russia, a stroke, and numerous surgeries, he remains severely disabled — yet he refuses to give up. Ilya continues to paint, stay in touch with friends, and keeps his sharp mind and sense of humor.
Ilya now lives with a full-time caregiver. His ex-wife, human rights activist and political prisoner under the NRA case,Larisa Romanova, helps him from abroad — paying for his care, food, and medicine. However, the funds are insufficient even for basic needs such as annual medication courses, food, and the caregiver’s salary.
Larisa writes (Facebook post):
“Ilya’s condition is stable. In January–February this year, he underwent an excellent annual rehabilitation course at the NPRC on Abramtsevskaya Street — huge thanks to everyone who helped make that possible!
The problem now is that my family and I, who support Ilya, don’t have enough money for even the minimal essentials. Income and pension remain the same, while prices keep rising. In addition, I have been living outside Russia for over a year now — and although I work, adjusting to a new country makes everything quite difficult.”
Who Is Ilya Romanov
The name Ilya Romanov is well-known to anyone familiar with the history of the anarchist movement in Russia and the post-Soviet space. Since the late 1980s, he has organized anarchist circles in Nizhny Novgorod, participated in the squatter and environmental movements, gave lectures, published the newspaper Solntse (The Sun), and supported political prisoners.
In 2002, Ilya was imprisoned in Ukraine under a fabricated SBU case — the so-called Odessa Case . After 10 years of imprisonment and a European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling acknowledging Ukraine’s violations, he returned to Russia, where he was arrested again. The reason — the explosion of a firecracker that investigators called “preparation for a terrorist act.”
In 2015, Ilya was sentenced to 9 years in prison, and later another 5.5 years for “promoting terrorism” — over online publications made under his name while he was already imprisoned.
In 2019, while in a punishment cell, Ilya suffered a stroke and fell into a coma. He was released only after appeals by lawyers and human rights activists to the ECHR. Since then, he has lived with severe consequences — right-side paralysis and amputation of a hand — yet remains remarkably resilient and active. For example, Ilya learned to paint using a mechanical prosthesis.
How to Help
Today, Ilya needs financial assistance to live as full a life as possible.
Every transfer is not just help for one person.
It is an act of solidarity with someone who has remained faithful to the ideals of freedom and equality all his life — who fought on many fronts of resistance, endured torture, long years of imprisonment, and sacrificed his health for his beliefs.

Eternal memory to the deceased anarchist Kyriakos Ximitris
On October 31, 2024, Greek anarchist Kyriakos Ximitris died while assembling an explosive device in an apartment in the Ampelokipi neighborhood. His comrade Marianna M., who was also in the apartment, was injured and taken to Evangelismos Hospital under guard. Comrades Dimitris and Dimitra were arrested at the same time.
Kyriakos and Marianna participated in numerous anarchist actions, solidarity projects with prisoners, and defense of the Exarchia neighborhood and squat spaces. The deceased revolutionary promoted the ideas and practices of insurrectionary struggle everywhere.
Government media inflamed "anti-terrorist" hysteria and launched a slanderous campaign against the revolutionaries. Security forces, trying to extract the testimony they needed, pressured Marianna while she was in critical condition due to multiple injuries in the hospital. A wave of repression against the anarchist movement began.
But the revolutionaries responded to state persecution with resistance. Revolutionary Coordination militants set fire to state-owned vehicles. Demonstrations honored the memory of Ximitris and demanded the release of those imprisoned in the Ampelokipi case. Anarchists Nikos Mazotis and Panagiota "Pola" Roupa, both sentenced to life imprisonment, issued a statement calling for the continuation of the struggle.
November 16th was declared a "day of action," with memorial and solidarity events taking place around the world. Exactly one month before this day, on October 16, 2025, anarchist cells of the Kyriakos Ximitris faction claimed responsibility for the arson attack on the home of a special police officer.
October 31 is a memorable day for international revolutionary resistance. After all, on this same day in 2018, Russian anarchist Mikhail Zhlobitsky died in the struggle, having also detonated a bomb in the Arkhangelsk FSB building.
The fallen will never be forgotten, and the best way to remember them is to continue the struggle for which they died.

Irkutsk anti-fascist Anton Kalakin was sentenced by the military court to six years in prison for two comments.
Anton Kalakin is known as Anton 69 in the Irkutsk punk community. He works odd jobs: most recently, he worked as a security guard and repaired boats. He participated in solidarity events, attended punk concerts, helped homeless animals, was interested in local history, and ran a public page about the history of Irkutsk. He lived with his mother.
In April 2025, security forces raided their apartment in Irkutsk and confiscated Anton's equipment. Soon after, the anti-fascist was charged with two counts of "justifying terrorism" (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code). In May, he was added to the list of "extremists and terrorists".
Anton left his first comment on the Telegram channel "Irkutsk Blog" in July 2024. Under a post about Igor Kobzev, Irkutsk Oblast Governor, who considers war spending a "higher priority" than school renovations, he wrote: "Without trial or investigation, hang him on a lamppost along Karl Marx Street!" The second comment was about the prisoner exchange: "Azov soldiers, defenders of Mariupol and other regions of Ukraine. These are the ones who need to be released!" Anton wrote these words on the channel of Ukrainian video blogger Vladimir Zolkin last October.
The case against the anti-fascist began in the Second District Military Court in Chita on October 22, and the verdict was announced the following day. Judge Oleg Yugolainin sentenced Anton to 5.5 years in prison for each comment. The final sentence, after adding up the sentences, was six years in a general regime penal colony.
Anton fully admitted his guilt: he hadn't initially sought publicity and had hoped for a fine. However, Judge Yugolainin ruled that the case contained two aggravating circumstances that warranted imprisonment of the anti-fascist: "motivated by political hatred and enmity" and "committing the crime during mobilization." In addition, the judge ordered to destroy a notebook sheet, a leaflet, and a cardboard cutout in the shape of the Ukrainian coat of arms found in Anton's home.

Fundraiser: 2200 euros for three months of legal work for Ruslan Sidiki
Anarchist Ruslan Sidiki remains in detention — and we continue to support him. Right now we need to raise 200,000 rubles to pay for his lawyer’s work for the next three months. When someone is held in a pre-trial detention center (SIZO), this is the most expensive period to provide support. At the same time, it’s also when there are more opportunities — for the defense, regular lawyer visits, and filing appeals.
Ruslan Sidiki, a citizen of Russia and Italy, has been sentenced to 29 years in prison. He was found guilty under “terrorism” charges and a number of other accusations for two acts of sabotage against Russia’s military logistics: an attempted drone attack on the Dyagilevo airfield and the sabotage of a railway line used to transport military cargo. Ruslan has emphasized that he targeted only military infrastructure, and that the railway tracks that were blown up were not used by passenger trains.
Ruslan’s lawyer is preparing additional materials for the appeal and will take part in the proceedings at the Military Court of Appeal. He regularly visits Ruslan at Ryazhsk SIZO, stays in contact with the Italian consulate, and continues efforts to hold accountable the security officers who tortured Ruslan after his detention. This work requires not only time, but also systematic, persistent pressure on the system — and it is already producing results.
At the end of August, the prosecutor’s office ruled that investigator Svetlana Surina’s refusal to open a criminal case regarding Ruslan’s torture was unlawful. The materials were sent for an additional review, and the lawyer’s demands were fully satisfied. This was the outcome of enormous work: dozens of complaints, months of correspondence, and constant pressure on oversight bodies. For the security services, this means one thing: every time they break the law, it does not go without consequences. They are summoned for questioning, denied bonuses, and violations are formally recorded. This kind of work reduces the risk of further torture and provides Ruslan with additional protection.
We recently closed the previous fundraiser and fully paid the lawyer’s fees through November 15. Now we need to secure the next period — so the appeal can be prepared as thoroughly as possible, every visit to Ruslan can be paid for, and the work on the torture case does not stop.
We are announcing a new fundraiser: 200,000 rubles (circa 2200 euros) for three months of legal work.

Report on the evacuation fundraiser
After announcing the fundraiser to support the evacuation of persecuted comrades from Russia, ABC-Moscow received donations totaling approximately €2,000 (not including transfers intended for specific persecuted individuals). We thank everyone who took part in the fundraiser in any way!
As we wrote earlier, during the first half of 2025 we carried out three evacuations, spending around €3,000 on them. Of the €2,000 raised, half had to be used to cover debts that we were forced to incur. The remaining €1,000 will stay in the fund that we use for emergency evacuations from Russia.
In the current conditions, it is extremely important to have the ability to urgently evacuate a person from Russia. Too many of our comrades are already imprisoned in Russia, so if someone is under threat of arrest but still has the opportunity to leave, they must take it.
Evacuation is expensive. Paying for transportation that does not require purchasing a ticket in one’s own name in Russia; temporary housing; complex routes out of Russia to a safe country — all of this requires money.
At the same time, evacuation preserves freedom. Evacuated comrades can continue anarchist and antifascist struggle in exile.
Solidarity without borders!
You can find the contact addresses of all prisoners in Russia supported by Anarchist Black Cross Moscow here (and instructions how to donate here). If you want to make a donation to a particular prisoner or case, please contact us beforehand via e-mail to make sure that the supporters of the prisoner or case are currently gathering donations, our e-mail is the same as the listed PayPal account.

Anti-war resistance in Russia and anarchists
Thousands of Russians have been fighting against the invasion to Ukraine. During first month of protests against the war, 15 000 people were detained. Small street actions are still sporadically taking place, although they are heavily persecuted. More than 300 people have been imprisoned for anti-war activities, including six anarchists and antifascists. What are the current anti-war initiatives in Russia to follow? How to support Russian anti-war movement, which is operating in more and more repressive circumstances? Why Russian anti-war movement has this far failed to change the course of war? Who are the current anarchist and anti-fascists prisoners in Russia, and how to support them?

A presentation for the Bristol Anarchist Bookfair, 1 November 2025, by Antti Rautiainen. The presentation was also delivered at the London Anarchist Bookfair on 20 September and at the Cowley Club in Bristol on 21 September 2025.
The presentation largely follows the one given in Agrinio and three other Greek cities in June 2025, but is more concise, as no translation was required. Compared to the June presentation, the case of Kirill Bobrov has been added.
Kirill Bobrov was suspected of involvement in the insurrectionary anarchist organisation Revolutionary Association of Free People in 2011–2012. The group claimed responsibility for arson attacks against government buildings and the ruling party in Ufa. Kirill managed to escape and was granted asylum in Austria, but later returned to Russia while suffering from serious mental health problems. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison in 2024; however, the anarchist movement only became aware of his case in 2025.

According to the investigation, he allegedly was preparing to commit arson attacks on buildings of the FSB and the military enlistment office, having allegedly entered into correspondence with Ukrainian intelligence services. However, this may have been a was a provocation.
On February 7, 2025, the Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg sentenced Alexey Grigoriev to 20 years in prison on charges of treason and terrorism, allegedly committed as part of a certain group of individuals.
Alexey is a trained musician, played the guitar, and is interested in science and art, as well as learning foreign languages, particularly Polish.

Fundraiser for Those Who Escaped
Support those who managed to avoid prison but ended up in forced exile.
This year, ABC-Moscow helped several anarchists facing criminal prosecution in Russia to safely leave the country. After evacuation, people find themselves in a new reality: without housing, without health insurance, and without a stable income. And even if the journey out of Russia is already behind them, difficult months still lie ahead — waiting for visas and legal status, searching for lawful employment, and dealing with everyday and medical needs.
At the moment, one comrade among those we evacuated urgently needs support: she requires assistance with housing, food, and basic expenses while she stabilizes her situation. We aim to raise €500 for her.
In addition, we need to create a small reserve for potential future evacuations. Our goal is not only to get someone out of danger, but also to provide them with initial support in a safe country — so that they are not left without help at a moment of particular vulnerability. We plan to raise €1,000 for this reserve.
If you are able to help, please do — any amount matters. The funds will go toward humanitarian support: temporary housing, food, and medical care.

December 24 is Birthday of political prisoner, anarchist Alexey Rozhkov
He is turning 28. Alexey Rozhkov is an anarchist from the city of Berezovsky in the Sverdlovsk region. He was involved in punk music, previously played bass in the band Tell Me the Reason, and was interested in existentialist philosophy.
Rozhkov was one of the first to express protest against the war in Ukraine through a partisan action. On March 11, 2022, Alexey set fire to the military enlistment office in his hometown. He was immediately detained. He initially faced up to 15 years in a penal colony, but the charge was later changed to a lesser one, and the case ended with a travel restriction order. With the help of human rights activists, Alexey managed to leave Russia.
However, due to the lack of a foreign passport, he was unable to travel to safe countries and remained in Kyrgyzstan, where he was waiting for a humanitarian visa and documents to leave for the European Union. He did not manage to wait—he was abducted by local security forces and handed over to the FSB at the border.
Alexey Rozhkov was sentenced to 16 years in prison. During the trial, he stated:
“To label me a terrorist means to blur the distinction between me and those inhumane thugs who carried out the terrorist attack at Crocus, and others like them. I did not want anyone to be harmed, did not seek any personal gain, was not recruited by anyone, and, acting according to my conscience and sharing universal moral principles, expressed an anti-war protest in which no one was supposed to be harmed—and no one was harmed.”
On September 27, 2024, the human rights project Support for Political Prisoners. Memorial recognized Rozhkov as a political prisoner.

The mother of antifascist Anton Kalakin, sentenced to six years for two comments, visited him in Irkutsk Prison-1
According to the support group, Irina Viktorovna's date with Anton took place on December 3. According to her, his condition is "more or less ok" and much better than during the last meeting. In November, when she first visited Anton after his sentence, he did not smiled once.
"It's scary to remember, but then my son seemed to not recognize me, speaking strange, punctual phrases, as in the interrogation. After that date, it felt so hard and scared that I cried the whole day. Now we communicated more warmly and soulfully," said Irina Viktorovna. She thanks everyone for their support, she sent the money she collected on the card to her son's personal account so that he can buy groceries in the store, because the holidays are coming.
"Once again, I thank all the caring people who are helping to endure and not break down in this insanely difficult ordeal that has fallen upon us," Anton's mother added. After the date, mother stopped receiving letters from Anton for a while. The detention explained it with a broken printer. A little later, the answers still came: Anton told that there were problems with the Internet in the isolation unit due to repairs, but now everything works.

In late October, a military court in Chita sentenced Kalakin to six years in a colony in a case of "justification for terrorism" over two Telegram comments - a post about governor Igor Kobzev and a news of a prisoner-of-war exchange. Kalakin pleaded guilty because he was expecting a fine, but Judge Yugolayinin found that there were aggravating circumstances in the case — “motive for political hatred” and “committing a crime during the period of mobilization” — and gave Anton a real term.
On November 6, Kalakin's lawyer Valery Teterin filed an appeal against the sentence. He considers the court's decision to be illegal. For example, in the investigation materials, Anton's surname was listed as "Morozova". A woman with such a surname was convicted by the same court in Chita in April - also for a comment online.
The support group continues to support Anton and his mother. They need at least 20 thousand rubles (circa 400 euros). This is a very modest amount, which Irina Viktorovna talks about, but the support group would like to collect more, because this money will only last for a month. And it will be necessary to pay for the services of a lawyer, products and medicines for a longer time.

Russia plans to declare anti-war Telegram channel a “terrorist organisation”
Repression targets Chita anarchists already jailed for war resistance and anti-regime graffiti
The regional prosecutor’s office for the Trans-Baikal region in eastern Siberia has submitted a petition to a local court to recognize the “Trans-Baikal Left Association” as a terrorist organisation. The petition refers to the telegram channel 75zlo, allegedly maintained by jailed anarchists Aleksandr Snezhkov and Lyubov Lizunova, which the petition asks to declare as “leaders” of this association.
The court hearing is scheduled for January 13. Currently the channel has 72 subscribers, and no posts have been published there since the anarchists were detained. If the court agrees with the prosecutor’s office and recognises 75zlo as a “terrorist community”, any activity related to it will be prohibited. In Russia, “forming a terrorist organisation” is punishable from 15 years in prison to a life sentence. Aleksandr does not agree with the prosecutor’s claim and will seek to participate in the hearing.
Snezhkov and Lizunova, then 19 and 16 years old, were arrested in October 2022 in Chita, Eastern Siberia, and accused of “vandalism” and “propaganda of terrorism” for spraying graffiti against the regime and maintaining anti-war Telegram channels. More than two years later, in November 2024, they were sentenced by a military court to 6 and 3.5 years in prison, respectively.
75 is the regional code of the Trans-Baikal region used in car licence plates, and zlo is an acronym for both the Trans-Baikal Left Association and the popular anti-police slogan “to revenge everything on cops”.
Last October, Snezhkov was sentenced to an additional five years for “justification of terrorism” for reading his case files to his cellmates. During his imprisonment, Snezhkov has been sent to solitary confinement for long periods, last spring he spent 90 days in the hole. During his current pre-trial detention he was again sent to the hole for 20 days.
Recently, a support group announced a collection of 280 thousand rubles (about £2,600) to help the two anarchists for costs of parcels during the next six months.
Letters of support must be written in Russian (use auto-translate) and can be sent to Aleksandr at:
