The 1st day of the New Delhi World Book Fair came to a spectacular end with a huge turnout.

With ‘Republic@75’ as the theme of the fair, the event brought together leading voices from fields including literature, art, cinema & more.

Apart from featuring books from across the region, a number of activities promoting children’s literature were organized at the ‘Children’s Pavilion’.

The fest also has a ‘Yuva corner’ promoting young authors, a ‘theme pavilion’ showcasing the theme of the festival with graphics, books, etc., an 'International Events Corner' & 'Authors' Corner' for book launches & panel discussions.

Many cultural programmes showcasing different regional cultures & traditions captivated the visitors.
