Chinar Book Festival at SKICC, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir concluded successfully

With the completion of the 9th day of the Chinar Book Festival at SKICC, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, the festival organised by the National Book Trust (NBT) came to its conclusive end today.

With a number of book stalls spread on the banks of Dal lake, the festival featured a plethora of books ranging from fiction, non-fiction, literature, history, contemporary and more.

The festival saw participation from noted authors, writers, poets and lyricists, all coming together under one roof to interact with the literary enthusiasts and promote a reading culture in the youth.

A special session was organised by VisionIAS featuring Brig. LC Patnaik (Retd.), Ex Chairman, Odisha Public Service Commission & Ex President, SSB who guided the aspirants on a career in civil services and other government roles.

A stall was also setup by VisionIAS, counseling UPSC aspirants on effective strategy for the Civil Service.
