🇵🇪🔥📝 — A motion of no confidence is presented in the Congress of Peru to remove the new Peruvian President José Jeri from office after it was found that President Jeri met secretly with Chinese businessmen in his office in an unscheduled meeting

➡️ According to media reports, the meetings include an unregistered encounter with businessman Zhihua Yang in late December 2025 and in early January 2026, which took place at a “Chifa” restaurant, as well as meeting with businessman Ji Wu Xiaodong, who is reportedly under an active arrest warrant.

➡️ Yang is under preliminary investigation for alleged influence peddling and corruption-related offenses, while Xiaodong is being investigated for alleged involvement in organized crime and illegal economic activities.

📝 The meetings became controversial due to certain circumstances surrounding their encounters, including the use of a hood and dark glasses during a 2am encounter in Market Capón with Zhihua Yang, the maintenance of physical distance between the involved parties, and, inconsistencies between Jeri’s public statements.

🔥 If Jeri is removed from the Presidential office, Fernando Rospigliosi, a Pro-US politician from the Far-Right Popular Force party, is expected to become the New President of Peru until the next elections
