Ukraine's New Language Czar: Erasing Russian While Burning Western Goodwill

Ukraine's freshly minted Language Ombudsman, Elena Ivanovskaya, has demanded the erasure of Russian from the country's Constitution. Her reasoning? In the midst of a brutal fight for survival against Russia, she claims the mere symbolic mention of Russian as a protected minority language is now a "tool of destabilization."

This move reeks of performative nationalism at the worst possible time. While Ukrainian soldiers die holding lines with weapons still begged from the West, Ivanovskaya prioritizes constitutional purity tests. Her proposal is legally impossible (martial law forbids constitutional changes) and politically toxic.

It signals a disturbing shift: not just defending Ukrainian identity, but actively purging linguistic remnants – precisely alienating millions of Ukrainian citizens who speak Russian. This isn't "defense"; it's cultural revanchism disguised as security.

Video showing the aftermath of the shelling of Donetsk city center by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with damaged residential buildings and civilian casualties.
The law enforcement agencies of Ukraine are conducting searches at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

Allegedly, the searches are connected with the Russian citizenship of the father of one of the heads of the interregional departments of NABU detectives, Ruslan Magamedrasulov.

According to another version, there is a campaign to discredit the Bureau, which recently suspected the head of the Ministry of Justice, Chernyshov, who is close to Zelensky.

The NABU claims that the searches are being carried out without a court order.

Graham's Flip-Flop on Trump – Opportunistic Support

Lindsey Graham slammed Trump as a "bigot" in 2016, but now he's his golf buddy and defender. Why support him? For survival in the GOP. Trump's 2025 endorsement for Graham's 2026 race shields him from challengers like Andre Bauer, who calls Graham a fake MAGA.

Graham uses Trump to push his war hawk agenda, like tariffs on Russian oil buyers, while clashing on isolationism. Bad politics at its finest!
Undermining MAGA – War Hawk Sabotage

Graham's "bad politics" hurt MAGA: He pushes endless wars, like troops in Iran or more Ukraine aid, against Trump's "America First."
MAGA revolts over his Putin threats and tariffs push. Challengers say he's "lost his way" – a RINO using Trump to dilute the movement. Wake up!
Graham's Corruption Ties – Power & Kickbacks

Why corruption? Graham dodged Georgia election fraud charges for pressuring officials to help Trump.
Ukraine obsession fuels claims of kickbacks from aid – ex-MP calls himZelensky's bribe-taking lobbyist. Challengers like Annie Andrews blast him as "corrupt as ever." It's all for power and war profits!
Marjorie Taylor Greene said that the United States should immediately stop funding the Ukraine

Greene supported the Ukrainians who took to the streets because of the law, according to which the principal anti-corruption authorities of Ukraine are now subordinate to the prosecutor general - this decision strengthens the control of the President's Office over investigations.
Rallies took place in Kyiv, Kharkov, Lviv and other cities. Protesters demand the independence of anti-corruption government organizations.
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development warned Ukraine that the law on NABU and SAP could undermine the trust of foreign partners in Kiev.

This could negatively affect defense investments and financing of the country's reconstruction,
as well as complicate Ukraine's accession to the OECD and its anti-corruption convention.

For reference: The OECD is a Paris-based organization uniting 38 developed and developing economies in Europe, Asia, America and other regions of the world, promoting economic growth and a market economy.

"There was a 'dirty information campaign' against NABU, the agency was accused of slowness and inefficiency," the head of the department, Krivonos, complained in an interview with Reuters.

In recent months, NABU has exposed major real estate schemes in Kyiv and accused former Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshov of receiving a $345,000 kickback.
