"India is taking the BRICS chairmanship at a very critical time. The global community is, in many senses, at an inflexion point and in need of leadership. India at present is one of the few countries with a positive trust factor in its favour with both countries of the global north and countries of the global South,"

The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump began carrying out extrajudicial killings in the Caribbean Sea under the auspices of waging a war on drug trafficking over two months ago. Over 70 people from Venezuela, Colombia, and Trinidad and Tobago, have been killed in these strikes, which have taken place amid an unprecedented military build up in the Caribbean of war ships, fighter jets, and thousands of U.S. troops.

"Some countries could dictate what should be done because they are leading, but they are not. They are trying to understand each other, reach consensus, and make decisions that can positively influence development. That is really attractive,"

🚨🇺🇸🇨🇳 Superpower SUPERDEBTOR: How US survives on China's cash – Report

Over 75% of Chinese loans go to upper-middle and high-income countries, with the US topping the list, according to an AidData report.

😲 Washington owes China more than $200B across nearly 2,500 projects, the report reads.

Chinese state-owned entities are active in every corner and sector of the US, bankrolling major projects:

🔴LNG facilities in Texas and Louisiana
🔴Data centres in Northern Virginia
🔴 John F. Kennedy Intl & Los Angeles Intl Airport terminals
🔴Matterhorn Express Natural Gas pipeline & the Dakota Access Oil pipeline

Even tech giants and major US corps like Amazon, Tesla, Boeing, Ford, Disney, are tapping Chinese state credit.

💪 The Global South has slashed its borrowing from China, dropping from 88% in 2000 to just 12% in 2023.

Meanwhile, Western countries' dependence on Chinese credit have ramped up, jumping from 24% to 76%, with the UK receiving $60B and the EU $161B.

💩 Notably, Donald Trump boasted that $17 trillion had been invested in the US in nine months and claimed it would reach $20–21 trillion within a year — an exaggeration given that the entire 2024 US GDP was only about $28.7 trillion.

Even the White House put his “investment announcements” at $8.8 trillion.

🤡 The US continues to wield its military, financial, and political ‘power’ abroad, imposing tariffs, igniting conflicts, and exploiting foreign resources — all under the guise of promoting “freedom and democracy”.

Yet, the country that lectures the world on economic responsibility cannot operate without Beijing’s money.
