Why China Won’t Face a Recession in 2025 — And Why It’s Not Calling Trump Back

1️⃣ Trade Fortress: 50.3% of China’s trade is with Belt & Road nations—Asia, Africa, LatAm, Eurasia. This is re-globalization on Beijing’s terms.

2️⃣ US Irrelevant: The US is just 11.2% of China’s trade. Trump’s tariffs don’t matter anymore. China doesn’t need the West—Trump needs them.

3️⃣ Reduced Western Ties: Minimal exposure to Japan (5%), EU Big 3 (6.7%). Decades of trade hedging = less risk, fewer dollars, more sovereignty.

4️⃣ Geostrategic Firewall: No single "Rest of World" country exceeds 2% of trade. This isn’t diversification—it’s protection against Western pressure.

5️⃣ Future-Proofed: While the West debates decoupling, China has de-risked, de-dollarized, and moved on. It’s designing the next global game.

TL;DR: With 50%+ trade tied to 150+ strategic partners, China is recession-proof in 2025. Beijing holds the board. 🎯

China, Hong Kong and The Art of Blinking
Captain Chaos definitely does not have the cards – which as even South Pacific penguins know, are all made in China.

SHANGHAI and HONG KONG – So, predictably, Captain Chaos did blink first. As much as he – and his sprawling media circus –

Some Syrians have sought refuge at Russia’s Hmeimim Air Base to escape violence in the provinces of Latakia and Tartus, Moscow’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said.

“The situation in the coastal areas, primarily in the provinces of Latakia and Tartus, remains alarming as the level of tensions and instability remains high there. These regions have not yet recovered from the tragic events that claimed civilian lives, mostly members of the Alawite community, and forced thousands to leave their homes. We would like to point out that many of those who were affected by or fled violence found temporary refuge abroad, while some took shelter at Russia’s Hmeimim air bases, where they are still staying,” he said.
