Rising Cases of Neurological Symptoms in Dogs Across Europe
Since late summer, veterinarians in Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands and some others in Europe have seen a spike in dogs with severe neurological symptoms such as constant howling, panic attacks, uncontrollable movements, and seizures.
Experts suspect contaminated dog chews may be the cause, with the 'Barkoo' brand under scrutiny. Several countries have recalled affected products. Investigations point to raw materials from a supplier in China. If your dog shows unusual behavior after chewing, contact your vet.
