1️⃣ Several Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Rafah as well as the Jabalia and al-Bureij refugee camps, while Israel continues to bombard Khan Younis.

2️⃣ “Full Israeli security control… is contrary to a Palestinian State,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said in a post on X.

3️⃣ Arrests continue in Israeli raids on the occupied West Bank as the father of a teen killed there slams US support for Israel.

4️⃣ “Disturbing” Western governments not condemning “unspeakable crimes”, says the UN’s special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, regarding reports of summary executions.

5️⃣ Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has promised to hit back at Israel following an air strike on the Syrian capital that killed five members of the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

6️⃣ Thousands of people rallied in central Tel Aviv on Saturday, demanding the return of Hamas captives and elections to replace Netanyahu’s government.

At least 24,927 people including 9,600 children, have been killed and 62,388 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The revised death toll from the October 7 attack in Israel stands at 1,139.

🔹In the #Kherson-#Crimea Direction, the RF Armed Forces, supported by long range weapons, are storming #Krynki.
💥 The AFU positions in #Beregovoye, the regional centre, #Antonovka and #Tyaginka are under attack.
💥 Ukrainian artillery worked on the RF Armed Forces in Golaya Pristan, #Alyoshki, Cossack Camps and #Korsunka. (Fig. 1)

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, after shelling, the RF Armed Forces attacked #Rabotino village from the west and from #Novoprokopovka. ⚠️The frontline did not change.
💥 Russian long range weapons hit the AFU in #Pyatikhatki, Malaya Tokmachka, #Belogorye, #Gulyaypole, #Krasnoye and #Malinovka.
💥 Ukrainian weapons hit Russian ones in #Zherebyanka, #Kopani, #Novoprokopovka, #Verbovoye, #Novofyodorovka and #Marfopol. (Fig. 2)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces are storming #Novomikhaylovka from the south and north. ⚠️The AFU is holding their positions. The situation is similar at #Georgiyevka, where Russian artillery is working hard. The same situation at #Pervomayskoye and #Severnoye (a settlement west of Avdeyevka). Russian troops, supported by long range weapons, have ⚠️entered the southeastern outskirts of the city itself from the direction of the industrial zone. The AFU is in serious trouble. The RF Armed Forces attacked in #Stepovoye (⚠️not Stepnoye as Gonzo wrote and; not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions) after shelling. ⚠️Without advancing.
💥 Ukrainian positions in #Pobeda, #Nevelskoye, #Tonenkoye and #Novokalinovo are under fire.
💥 Russian positions in #Maryinka, #Donetsk and the village of #Krasnogorovka. (Fig. 3)

🔹In the #Lugansk Direction, after shelling, the RF Armed Forces storming #Belogorovka and the AFU positions in the #Serebryanskoye forest area south of #Dibrova. They have ⚠️advanced much further north in the area of #Krakhmalnoye. Also with the support of artillery. They ⚠️took control of a section of a strategic road. With the support of long range weapons they attacked near #Petropavlovka and in #Sinkovka.

The situation with my colleague journalists is a complete infringement on freedom of speech, but no matter where we ask for help - nothing happens. I am a member of Reporters without Borders - and nobody has supported our plight.

I was due in Court on January 15, but I got the flu on January 12. I was granted absence, however on the day the police still arrived at my house and tried to forcibly take me to Court.

Berezovskaya's a Russian-speaking journalist in Latvia. Riga rounded up 14 of her colleagues simply because they speak Russian and worked with Russian companies BEFORE they were even sanctioned.

Rats and mice overran the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, just like in the First World War - CNN

▪️As the publication notes, rats and mice are dangerous because they spread diseases that cause soldiers to vomit and bleed from the eyes, undermine combat effectiveness and recreate the terrible conditions of the First World War.
▪️According to the military woman “Kira”, the situation with rats at the front is critical: in one dugout where four people were sleeping, there were about 1000 mice.
▪️The invasion of mice is partly explained by the change of seasons and the mating cycle, as well as the static nature of the development of war.
▪️According to her, the rats disabled some of the equipment by devouring radios, repeaters, and wires. “Losses from mice alone in our dugout amount to a million hryvnia [$26,500],” she added.
