🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, a new area of our attacks, on #Nesteryanka northwest of #Kopani appeared. Active (counter)attacks by our military continue at #Verbovoye, our troops are clearing the AFU positions west of the village (⚠️yesterday there were repulsed AFU attacks). Ours are actively using Aerostar drone pilots are aiming artillery. The AFU respond with blows to our rear. They hit #Tokmak and #Molchansk.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces continue to squeeze the AFU from positions near #Staromayorskoye. To the west of the village, we managed to suppress the defence of the AFU at three strongpoints. At #Rovnopol, ours prevented the enemy from rotating, several AFU drone control points were hit. In #Maryinka sector, the southern flank of #Novomikhaylovka has stabilised. The territory that ours had to withdraw from a few days ago is grey zone. Our army is actively advancing northeast of the village, expanding the zone of control over the "Menagerie" (Zverinets fortified area).

In the event of a war in the Taiwan Strait, the damage to the global economy will be, according to Bloomberg, $10 trillion, which corresponds to 10% of global GDP. And Taiwan's economy will simply be destroyed.
In the coming days, the world's media feeds will be filled with this event. So here are “the main things you need to know”;)
– The elections will take place on Jan 13, but the counting of votes will take at least several days. Often on the island this process is delayed.

– “The victory of the DPP candidate” does not equal “a violent reaction from Beijing” (especially in a military sense). This is version for the Western media

– Most likely a coalition will be formed from the People’s Party and the Kuomintang. Otherwise, everything will be much worse. A victory for the DPP also in parliament could quickly escalate the situation.
– The visit of the US delegation indirectly confirms the victory of the DPP
– Candidates: Lai Ching-te (DPP, current VP), Hou Yu (Mayor of Taipei, Kuomintang) and Ko Wenzhe (former Mayor of Taipei, People's Party)
– For the 1st time all 3 candidates come with a rating of 30-33%
– “Undemocratic democracy”: this could be the first time the DPP has a third term in a row
– Beijing is unlikely to get its hands dirty, but provocations are very likely
– Fraud and vote cheating are possible, the US will do everything to create a source of tension
– The inauguration will take place in May. By this time, the primaries in US and during the same period in China there will be "2 sessions” - the NPC and the legislative CPPCC - with problems in the economy there will be new personnel decisions. There won't be a blockade of the island until March.
So, if “everything as planned,” the movement will begin, as we discussed, no earlier than the fall.

Crews of Msta-B howitzers destroyed the enemy positions
Soldiers from the crews of the 152-mm towed howitzer Msta-B of the 114th motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Group of Forces defeated enemy personnel entrenched at a strong point in a forest belt in the Donetsk direction, and also destroyed an observation post of the Ukrainian Forces in one of the industrial buildings.
The reconnaissance UAV operator promptly identified a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and transmitted the target coordinates to the command control post. Thanks to the adjustment of artillery fire from the air, carried out in real time, the gun crews inflicted fire damage on enemy personnel who were trying to gain a foothold in the forest belt. The second target for the artillerymen was an observation post of Ukrainian nationalists, discovered by intelligence officers in one of the buildings of the industrial zone.
Thanks to the effective work of artillerymen in conjunction with spotters and operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, more than one and a half dozen Ukrainian military personnel were destroyed. To destroy fortifications, high-explosive fragmentation shells were used, which made it possible to inflict maximum damage to fortifications, including buried concrete fortifications of the enemy.
Artillerymen of the Southern Group of Forces regularly provide fire cover for the actions of Russian units in all directions, destroying planned and unplanned targets at distances of over 20 kilometers. Thanks to their work, the enemy constantly suffers losses in manpower and equipment, and is also unable to move, supply ammunition and rotate personnel.
