🇬🇧 How the Path to Beliefs and Disconnection from the Essence Begins

""Ego" comes from the Latin "I", it represents the individual identity, the self-conscious being. However, the reality is quite different.

"E-GO" in English could mean "e" for Ecclesia, assembly, the collective and sacred and "go" would be the verb to go. It would be basically the path to beliefs and disconnection from the essence. The spiritual or intellectual quest, the journey towards faith systems or ideologies.

And there the paradox arises: while one seeks to believe in something external (religion, Philosophy, dogma), there is a loss of connection with one's own essence (the authentic self, the inner nature).

From the earliest childhood, a tension is created between the individual and the collective, between dogmatic faith and the personal experience of the sacred and authentic.

Spiritual institutions gave way to the civil authorities that govern our lives and can obscure the authenticity of the Being. Education gradually nullified the innate inner wisdom, replaced by dogmas and beliefs of mandatory compliance.

The path to beliefs takes us away from the essence, separates us from it by surrendering our subjectivity to something external: institutions.

Surely nothing has been understood because we always listen to what we need and want. They will repeat it to us many times to fix our beliefs about what freedom is and accept to remain a slave voluntarily. Because the E-GO program is well installed in our mind."
