Church of St. John at Kaneo in Ohrid, North Macedonia🇲🇰
Saint John the Theologian, Kaneo (Macedonian: Свети Јован Канео, Latinic: Sveti Jovan Kaneo) or simply Saint John at Kaneo is a Macedonian Orthodox church situated on the cliff over Kaneo Beach overlooking Lake Ohrid in the city of Ohrid, North Macedonia.
The church has a cruciform architectural plan. The architect of the church is unknown, as is the date of construction, but documents describing the church property suggest that it was built before 1447.
Restoration work in 1964 led to the discovery of frescoes in its dome.

🇬🇧 The "Great Wall of China" from Montana
It might come as a surprise to many to learn that the US has its very own “Great Wall of China” in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
This massive limestone structure averages about 1,000 ft tall and stretches for more than a dozen miles.
Without a doubt, it's one of the most jaw-dropping natural wonders in the world.
Most people never see this structure in person because this is no easy hike. The trail is about 40 miles in totality.
Or maybe it's a melted great wall.

🇬🇧 Strange connection between Turkey and Japan
How is it possible that the tombs of Çanakçı in Turkey, from the IV century BC, are the same as those of Kyūshū in Japan, from the VI century AD?
It is amazing how these two cultures, separated in both time and space, managed to create structures so similar that they seem to have been designed by the same mind.
Japan must be a world of underground cities like Turkey is!

There is said to be hundreds if not thousands of these pyramids from throughout the countryside’s of China.
The government restricts access to these areas and even adds layers of dirt and plants trees on top of them to remain further obscured from the public eye.
Of course, excavations and studies of these sites have also been restricted.
