🇮🇹 Giugno.

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Buongiorno anime belle 🌾

🇦🇺 June. In a field of wheat, each ear seems to be lifted by the fingers of an invisible sculptor, working a material made of sky, gold and light.

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Good morning beautiful souls 🌾

🇧🇷 Junho.

🇬🇧 The New York of the 40s, the Old World

It is indisputable how the world has changed for the worse in less than a century.

Everyone was well dressed, elegant and courteous, there was order and security on the streets and the good traditional values were evident.

Nothing to do with what the world is like now, where bad education, ugliness, vulgarity and violence prevail.

🇦🇺 Tutankhamun's golden throne is one of the most luxurious artefacts found in his tomb and is on display at the Cairo Museum. This throne was made of wood, covered with thin sheets of gold and decorated with inlays of precious stones, glass and silver. On the back of the throne is a scene of the seated king while his wife, Ankhesenamun, tenderly touches his shoulder: a rare and moving depiction of family life in ancient Egyptian art.
Tutankhamun's golden throne, like his entire tomb, was found by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922 in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. Carter, together with his sponsor, Lord Carnarvon, discovered the pharaoh's almost intact tomb, filled with treasures including a throne, a sarcophagus, jewellery and other artefacts.

nice (adj.)

late 13c., "foolish, ignorant, frivolous, senseless," from Old French nice (12c.) "careless, clumsy; weak; poor, needy; simple, stupid, silly, foolish," from Latin nescius "ignorant, unaware," literally "not-knowing," from ne- "not" (from PlE root *ne- "not") + stem of scire "to know" (see science). "The sense development has been extraordinary, even for an adj." [Weekley] - from "timid, faint-hearted" (pre-1300); to "fussy, fastidious" (late 14c.); to "dainty, delicate" (c. 1400); to "precise, careful" (1500s, preserved in such terms as a nice distinction and nice and early); to "agreeable, delightful" (1769); to "kind, thoughtful" (1830).
