🇬🇧 "This is the Liberal Arts Building in Chicago - they called it 'Beaux Arts' and it's the size of a town. Make it make sense. Oh but don't worry, it was only temporary and they ripped it down along with everything else... We're told it burned down by the river, roaring with huge flames - but that no one bothered to take a photo of that event. What, you expected them to document THIS with a camera? Why would they do that when they can draw afterwards from memory. It's not like an epic dramatic scene that you wouldn't possibly NOT photograph or anything..."

The Moundville Archaeological Site, often called the Moundville Archaeological Park, is a remarkable but not widely known Mississippian culture site located on the Black Warrior River in Hale County, near Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Despite the name, the structures here are not mere “mounds” but small pyramid-shaped platforms. Archaeological research reveals that between the 11th and 16th centuries, this location served as the political and ceremonial heart of a powerful regional chiefdom. Today, the University of Alabama Museums manages 185 acres (75 ha) of the site, featuring 29 of these pyramid platforms arranged around a central rectangular plaza.

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Buongiorno anime belle 🤣💯👱‍♀️

🇭🇲 What if it were the landscape that chose our eyes, just as each of us chooses the person with whom we smile together?

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Good morning, beautiful souls 🏔

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Bom dia, belas almas 🏞

🇭🇲 Presumably a fort from the First World War in France...

But what if I told you that this 'fort' is much older and that the entire 'mountain range' was a structure from the Ancient World and the 'fort' is simply what remains of it.
