🇬🇧 World's Fair of St. Louis, 1904

None of this is temporary. You can't build something so wonderful in two years with temporary material in a severe Midwestern climate.

A snowstorm or heavy rains would easily destroy anything made with plaster and wire.

The city of St. Louis is ancient and was already famous in the Old World. But they put all their effort into making us believe that they created it overnight.

The Giants of Mont’e Prama

A Giant Discovery

In 1974, two farmers plowing their field in western Sardinia unearthed a nearly three-thousand-year-old gigantic limestone head, the first of thousands of ancient sculptural fragments recovered by archaeologists in the following decades.
The statues were immediately called Colossi or Giants. In addition to their very large size, they had unusual eyes in the form of concentric disks.

Excavations in the plain at the foot of the low hill of Mont’e Prama (“the mountain of palm trees”) revealed a monumental necropolis that had been in use for several centuries during the early first millennium BCE.

Pontischer Honig

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Buona giornata anime belle 🍂🍃

🇦🇺 The beauty of autumn colours. One would like to say to every tree, to every leaf, to every shade of gold, of yellow, of red, of brown: 'Just a moment more, Mr Winter'.

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Good day beautiful souls 🍂🍃

(Fabrizio Caramagna)

Bom dia almas lindas 🍂🍃

🇦🇺 The National Archives of France published an atlas from 1556 and everything would have been fine if it were not for a series of strange details.

The atlas contains a fairly detailed map of Antarctica, which is not only free of ice shells, but is also connected to Eurasia and has river beds marked on it. The very fact of tracing the continental contours of the southern continent before 1556 leads to original reflections.
