I also detailed to him the arrest of a terror cell in the Ramallah area that produced rockets to launch at our communities. Unfortunately, the PA is not upholding its commitments to fight terror.

"Today, the UN Security Council voted to reinstate extensive sanctions on Iran, effective October 28.
Iran’s nuclear program is not intended for peaceful purposes.
A nuclear-armed Iran would mean that the most dangerous regime possesses the most dangerous weapon, dramatically undermining global stability and security.
The international community’s goal must remain unchanged: to prevent Iran from ever acquiring nuclear capabilities."

Just exposed:
Hamas fired at UN teams and prevented the opening of a new humanitarian route in the southern Gaza Strip.
During UN work to open a new route for the movement of trucks from Kerem Shalom to the humanitarian area in the southern Gaza Strip, armed Hamas terrorists threatened and deliberately fired at a UN team operating at the site and forced them out of the work area.
The terrorists took over UN vehicles and used them to place a sand barrier on the route in order to prevent future movement of aid trucks into the humanitarian area.
Israel facilitates humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Hamas sabotages it in order to create a fake crisis campaign.

In response to the statement of the U.K. and some other countries regarding the recognition of a Palestinian state:
Israel categorically rejects the one-sided declaration of the recognition of a Palestinian state made by the United Kingdom and some other countries.
This declaration does not promote peace, but on the contrary - further destabilizes the region and undermines the chances of achieving a peaceful solution in the future.
Called by Hamas leaders “the fruits of the October 7 massacre”, the declaration not only rewards the biggest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust by a terror organization that is calling and acting for the annihilation of Israel, but also solidifies the support Hamas enjoys.
It is destructive to separate statehood – one of the final status issues – from peace.
This move goes against all logic of negotiation and reaching a compromise between two sides, and it will push the desired peace further away.
Moreover, The Palestinian Authority did not meet any of its requirements and obligations; it did not stop neither the incitement, nor the pay-for-slay policy, nor did it take the required measures to combat terrorism – as demonstrated recently with the discovery of rockets and missiles near Ramallah last week.
The Palestinian Authority is part of the problem and not part of the solution. This is also the reason why the United States imposed sanctions on the Palestinian Authority and prevented its senior officials from entering its territory.
In any case, Israel will not accept any detached and imaginary text that attempts to force it to accept indefensible borders.
Political gestures aimed at a domestic voting audience only harm the Middle East and are not helpful. Instead, if the countries that signed this declaration truly wish to stabilize the region, they should focus on pressuring Hamas to release the hostages and to disarm immediately.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar:
"Most countries in the world have already recognized a "Palestinian state" in the past. It was wrong in the past, too.
But those governments that decided to join the recognition precisely now are also doing an immoral, outrageous, and especially ugly action.
The governments that decided to do so after October 7th and when Israel is still engaged in a difficult military campaign against Hamas and its partners will be remembered with eternal shame.
This is a prize for Hamas and a reward for terrorism.
It is also an unjustified reward for the Palestinian Authority.
Only recently, the US announced measures against the PA and its leaders, among other things due to the continuation of its policy to reward terrorists by paying them salaries.
I am encouraged by the reactions of the oppositions in the "recognizing countries" that firmly and clearly oppose the moves of their governments and see it as a wrong and distorted move. We still have many friends in these countries, too.
But the guarantee that a Palestinian state will not be established - and it will not be established - is the opposition of the nation in Israel.
The nation opposes this delusional idea with an overwhelming, unprecedented majority.
Our future will not be determined in London or Paris. It will be determined in Jerusalem. We will continue to fight resolutely on the diplomatic front against moves that would endanger Israel and its future.
Our friends in the world will also stand by our side and chief among them - the United States of America.
And the eternity of Israel will not lie!"

I emphasized the moral severity and diplomatic error in the British government's decision to recognize a "Palestinian state". She expressed, as she had publicly done before, her fierce opposition to the British government's decision. I expressed our appreciation for her position. I also said that we know we have more friends in the UK and we know how to distinguish between the English people and the English government.
We agreed to remain in contact and I invited her to visit Israel."

Statement by Prime Minister Netanyahu
(translated from Hebrew)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "There will be no Palestinian state. The response to the latest attempt to force upon us a terror state in the heart of our land will be given after my return from the United States"
"I have a clear message to those leaders who are recognizing a Palestinian state after the horrendous October 7 massacre: You are rewarding terror with an enormous prize.
And I have another message for you: It's not going to happen. There will be no Palestinian state to the west of the Jordan River.
For years I have prevented the creation of that terror state, against tremendous pressure, both domestic and from abroad.
We have done this with determination, and with astute statesmanship. Moreover, we have doubled the Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria, and we will continue on this path.
The response to the latest attempt to force upon us a terror state in the heart of our land will be given after my return from the United States. Stand by."

Statement Regarding the Hamas Flotilla (“Sumud”):
This flotilla, organized by Hamas, is intended to serve Hamas.
Israel will not allow vessels to enter an active combat zone and will not allow the breach of a lawful naval blockade.
If the flotilla participants’ genuine wish is to deliver humanitarian aid rather than serve Hamas, Israel calls on the vessels to dock at the Ashkelon Marina and unload the aid there, from where it will be transferred promptly in a coordinated manner to the Gaza Strip.
Israel urges the participants not to break the law and to accept Israel's proposal for a peaceful transfer of any aid they might have.

Best wishes for the Jewish New Year from Israel 🍎🍯
We carry in our hearts 48 hostages still held in torture by Palestinian Hamas in Gaza.
We pray for their swift return & a year filled with peace, freedom, and sweetness for all.
As we dip apples in honey, may the outgoing year and its hardships end; may a new year with blessings begin. Shana Tova!

"I reiterated to the President of the Security Council that Israel will not participate in tomorrow’s Security Council session.
Despite our prior notice that the session falls on Rosh Hashanah, the Council chose to hold the debate precisely on this day.
A one-sided discussion held on a Jewish holiday is yet more proof of the UN’s hypocrisy."

We were sorry to hear the response from the Hamas flotilla representative that the flotilla insists on pursuing a violent course of action and refuses our proposal to transfer, in a coordinated and peaceful manner, any aid that might be aboard the flotilla to the Gaza Strip via the nearby Ashkelon Marina.
This response once again highlights the insincerity of the flotilla members and their mission to serve Hamas, rather than the people in Gaza.
If the flotilla continues to reject Israel’s peaceful proposal, Israel will take the necessary measures to prevent its entry into the combat zone and to stop any violation of a lawful naval blockade, while making every possible effort to ensure the safety of its passengers.
We reiterate: if your intentions are sincere, transfer any such aid to the Ashkelon Marina so it can be forwarded promptly to the Gaza Strip in a peaceful and non-violent manner.

The Hamas flotilla refuses Israel’s proposal to unload aid peacefully at the nearby Ashkelon Marina. Instead, it chooses the illegal path — sailing into a combat zone and breaching the lawful naval blockade.
This proves their true aim: serving Hamas rather than delivering aid to Gaza’s civilians.
Humanitarian aid — yes.
Support to Hamas — no.
