Turkish state bombing of Tishreen is intense and constant. The Turkish state is trying to break the peoples defense if the Tişrîn dam, to force them to retreat with fear.
They bombed the convoy but the people continued.
They bombed close to an ambulance but the medics continued.
They bombed the dam but the people continue.
The peoples message is clear "We are not afraid!"
As long as the people continue to rise we cannot be defeated

This introductory brochure was prepared by the #Riseup4Rojava network, based on transcriptions from an education on the Kurdish Freedom Movement. Today we saw many injured friends. Today alone 73 were injured. This means that since the protests at the dam began on 8 January, 160 civilians have been injured and 14 lost their lives.
Today ambulances could not evacuate the wounded to the nearest hospitals for hours because the Turkish state continued bombing around the dam. A few days ago an ambulance was bombed evacuating the wounded but this did not happen today. Thankfully, many people have now been evacuated and are being treated in hospital.
Lea, a young woman and climate and human rights activist, was injured in the bombings. Her condition now is stable.
We leave you today with her message.
"Stand Up! Stand up for humanity freedom and peace!"

Today we remember Kobane. In our recent brochure Murat Karayılan, reflects on Kobane and reveals untold stories of the young men and women who took on ISIS, securing freedom and safety—not only for the region but for the world.
