This is the Donetsk street that was hit by another Ukrainian bombing today. After I arrived back in Donetsk this afternoon , I walked to the street. It's very central, off a busy main road, and residential. From reporting on various Telegram channels over the past week or more, it's clear Ukraine has ramped up its bombing of civilian areas.

Today in Nikolskoe monastery, under heavy Ukrainian shelling (including while there), Ukrainian forces very close by.

Residents shelter in the monastery, which itself isn't safe from Ukraine's bombing.

Reaching the monastery meant driving at full speed along a road exposed to Ukrainian shelling. It's a risky gamble, but we opted to take the risk.
