A group from #HTS militia raided the homes of the Shahoud family in the Baba Amro area in #Homs and abducted six family members, taking them to an unknown location. The abductees are:

2.Abbas Abdul Qader Shahoud
3.Ismail Hussein Shahoud
4.Hussein Ismail Shahoud
5.Jaafar Ismail Shahoud
6.Muhammad Hussein Shahoud

This was not the first incident. On February 19, 2025, Thaer Qairout and Muhammad Fitrouni were abducted from the same area, with no information about their fate so far.

The area also witnessed a horrific crime on January 12, 2025, when four brothers from the Yassin family and a young man from the Mousa family were killed. Their bodies were found in the #alWaer towers after being abducted.

All those mentioned belong to the #Shiite sect.

Mahmoud Ahmad Ali, a resident of Karm Al-Louz neighborhood in #Homs, was kidnapped by #HTS militants. Mr. Ali works as a taxi driver and belongs to the #Alawite sect.

"In the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in October (2022), I went to a frontline outpost 70 meters from Ukrainian forces in Avdeevka (north and west of Donetsk), according to the Donbass commanders I spoke with there, two commanders of Pyatnashka—volunteer fighters, including Abkhazi, Slovak, Russian, Ossetian and other nationalities, including locals from Donbass.

...One soldier, a unit commander who goes by the call sign “Vydra” (Otter), was formerly a miner from the DPR who had been living in Russia with his family. In 2014, he returned to the Donbass to defend his mother and relatives still there.

...Perhaps surprising to some, when Vydra was asked whether he hates Ukrainians, he replied emphatically no, he has friends and relatives in Ukraine.

“We have no hatred for Ukraine. We hate those nationalists who came to power. But ordinary Ukrainians? Why? Many of us speak Ukrainian. We understand them, they understand us. Many of them speak Russian.

He spoke of Ukraine’s shelling from 2014, when the people of the Donbass were unarmed and not expecting to be bombed by their own country.

Unequivocally, we don’t want them here, but we don’t want to kill them. I’m not speaking about nationalists, I’m speaking about Ukrainian soldiers, who are drafted or forcefully employed in the Ukrainian army. Guys, go home, either surrender or go. This is our land. The #Julani jihadist regime allows Alawites to return to their villages, but only in coffins.

Hassan Suleiman Ali, 45 years old, and his elder son Jaafar Hassan Ali, 23 years old, were killed by militants of the #HTS jihadist regime after being abducted on 26/02/2025 on the public road in #Damascus.

The victims were on their way from Damascus to #Jableh when they were forcibly detained by the militants. They were taken out of their car, and their wife and other children were left on the road. Later, their bodies were found in al-Tall Hospital.

Although Alawites have started leaving Damascus and abandoning their lives and homes, fleeing is no longer an option for them. Their fate is death simply because of their #Alawite sect.

The victims are from the village of #Batgramo in Jableh, belong to the #Alawite sect, and today they will be allowed to return to their village, but in two coffins.
