🇺🇸🇻🇪🛢 Venezuela is sending its first oil shipment to Israel in several years, Bloomberg reports.

The agency also claims that most of the Venezuelan oil has been sold over the past month to buyers in India, Spain, and the United States.

Furthermore, by banning shipments from Venezuela, the Trump administration is also trying to persuade Beijing to resume oil and gas purchases from the United States, a move it abandoned in the spring of 2025. Trump's April visit to China, if it takes place, increasingly risks becoming another fiasco.

❗️💬 Meanwhile, Venezuela's Vice President for Communications, Culture and Tourism, Miguel Angel Perez Pirela, denied Bloomberg's report on the alleged delivery of Venezuelan oil to Israel.

🇮🇳 India adopted a record military budget of $94 billion.

The Indian government allocated a record 7.85 trillion Indian rupees (approximately $94.2 billion) to the Ministry of Defense in its draft budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. This is the largest defense budget in the country's history, an increase of 15.19% compared to last year.

The increase in military spending is due to the need to modernize the armed forces, operational needs, and emergency arms procurement following clashes with Pakistan.

The new military budget is nine times larger than Pakistan's military spending, but 3.5 times smaller than China's defense spending.
