Israeli Investigation Deflects Blame For 'Flour Massacre'

Palestinian eyewitness and doctor testimonies show Israel opened fire on starving crowds seeking aid

An Israeli army investigation into the killing of over 100 Palestinians seeking to receive aid from a humanitarian convoy on 29 February claims that Israeli troops did not open fire on the convoy itself, The Times of Israel reported on 8 March.

“Rather, shots were fired at several Gazans who moved toward soldiers and a tank at an IDF checkpoint, endangering troops,” the military probe claimed.

Israel claims most of the deaths occurred because the Palestinians trampled each other to death to get sacks of flour from the aid convoy.

However, testimonies gathered from Palestinians who survived the “flour massacre” describe Israeli forces opening fire indiscriminately on the crowd, causing those gathered to flee and trucks to drive away. Doctors at Gaza hospitals report that most of the injured had gunshot wounds, suggesting most of the dead were killed by Israeli gunfire.

+972 Magazine quoted the testimony of Abdel Jalil Al-Fayoumi, 22, whose cousin was shot in the head and killed by Israeli fire at the convoy.

Pentagon's Plan For AI Piloted Ghost Fighter Jets: Air Force Is Backing $6BILLION Program For 1,000 Robot 'Mini Fighters' That Can Fly 30ft Above The Ground At 600mph

- Five aerospace companies are bidding for the $6 billion contract to produce new unmanned aircraft for the Air Force
- The jets will bolster the outdated current fleet and will be able to perform maneuvers that are too dangerous for manned planes

The US Air Force has launched a $6 billion contract for 1,000 AI-piloted fighter jets that can fly 30ft above the ground at 600mph and make moves that are too dangerous for manned planes.

The jets will bolster the current ailing and outdated fleet that leaders say is the smallest and oldest since the Air Force became a separate service in 1947.

The new fleet will be able to perform riskier maneuvers than unmanned aircraft, and will escort and protect crewed planes, carry weapons to attack targets on the ground and in the air and act as scouts.

Five companies are bidding for the contract: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, General Atomics and Anduril Industries, but only the Boeing Ghost Bat has been flown publicly.

The Pentagon will choose two of the companies by summer to start building the jets and hopes to have hundreds completed within five years at an estimated cost of $10 to $20 million per plane.

Western Media Promoted A UN Report As Proof Hamas Sexually Assaulted Israelis

Yet the report's authors admitted they could not locate a single victim, suggested Israeli authorities staged a rape scene, and denounced “inaccurate forensic interpretations"

On March 4, the United Nations released a report into sexual violence which has supposedly taken place amid the Israeli war on Gaza. The report was immediately celebrated in mainstream media outlets as proof of what scores of Israel lobbyists and journalists under their sway have insisted for months (despite a wealth of evidence to the contrary): that Hamas forces engaged in a systematic campaign of rape during their attack on Israel on October 7.

There was just one problem. The report’s authors flatly contradicted the idea that any evidence existed to prove a campaign of rape by Hamas.

Many legacy media outlets papered over this inconvenient fact with a few clever tweaks of language. The Associated Press, for example, repackaged claims of rape at Kibbutz Be’eri — which the UN report dismissed as “unfounded” — as “allegations of rape that could not yet be verified.”

The AP wasn’t the only outlet to indulge in such creative writing. A March 5 New York Times headline insisted the UN report had uncovered the sought-after “Evidence of Sexual Assault in Hamas-Led Attack on Israel.”

But following a social media post by The Grayzone’s editor-in-chief, Max Blumenthal, the Times quietly amended its headline to read: “UN Team Finds Grounds to Support Reports of Sexual Violence in Hamas Attack.”

Comments by the head of the UN team have made it clear the UN mission to Israel was the product of an Israeli public relations campaign. By United Nations Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict Pramila Patten’s own admission, the team was only dispatched following “pressure” by Israeli government-linked lobbying groups. Her personal schedule reveals its priorities: 15 days in Israel, and just two in occupied Palestinian territory...

What’s more, the UN team openly admits it “held several rounds of meetings to review information” from the Israeli army, Israeli security service Shin Bet, and the Israeli National Police’s Oct. 7 investigation unit, Lahav 433. Further meetings were held with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and various Israeli functionaries.

But after their multi-week guided fishing expedition, the UN representatives came back mostly empty-handed.

.....While the UN special representative on sexual violence, Pramila Patten, claimed to have found “clear and convincing information” that sexual violence later occurred to Israelis captured on October 7, she declined to name the victims or perpetrators and refused to say whether there was any pattern connecting the incidents.

At a press conference following the report’s publication, Patten stressed that the mission “was neither intended nor mandated to be investigative in nature” but noted that despite repeated calls for those affected to come forward, her team had been unable to locate a single victim of sexual assault by Palestinians.

US Building Gaza Port To Facilitate Mass 'Voluntary' Migration: Anadolu Agency

The US claims the port is to facilitate humanitarian aid but could be used to ethnically cleanse Gaza per previously leaked Israeli plans

A US military ship set sail on 11 March to travel to the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip to build a temporary port.

However, doubts about US intentions for the port's construction continue to emerge.

Hisham Khreisat, a Jordanian military and strategic affairs expert, suggested the motivation for building the port was instead to facilitate the deportation of Gaza's population by ship.

Khreisat told Anadolu Agency that "the floating port off the shores of Gaza is a humanitarian facade hiding voluntary migration to Europe."

"This military tactical port will receive Israeli approval because Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been seeking this idea since the beginning of the war, aiming for the voluntary displacement of Gazans and their [flight] to Europe," he added.

The White House claims it wishes to build the port to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza as hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are at risk of starvation due to Israel's blockade.

But the BBC noted that the port would take at least 60 days to build and that "charities have said those suffering in Gaza cannot wait that long."

If the US wished to stave off famine in Gaza, it could simply use its leverage as Israel's leading supplier of weapons to force Tel Aviv to allow more aid to enter by truck convoys through existing land crossings.

Boeing Whistleblower John Barnett Found Dead in US

A former Boeing employee known for raising concerns about the firm's production standards has been found dead in the US.

John Barnett had worked for Boeing for 32 years, until his retirement in 2017.

In the days before his death, he had been giving evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the company. [🚩]

Boeing said it was saddened to hear of Mr Barnett's passing. The Charleston County coroner confirmed his death to the BBC on Monday.

It said the 62-year-old had died from a "self-inflicted" wound on 9 March and police were investigating.

Women, Children Make Up Over 70 Percent of Palestinians Killed in Gaza

Seventy-two percent of the death toll from Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip have been women and children, the Health Ministry in the strip announced on 10 March.

Boeing Whistleblower John Barnett’s Lawyer Doubts Coroner’s Findings Gunshot Wound Was ‘Self-Inflicted’ After He Was Found Dead in Truck in Hotel Car Park on Third Day of His Deposition in Bombshell Lawsuit Against the Plane-Maker

The lawyer who represented the Boeing whistleblower who was found dead in his own truck doubts the coroner's report that concluded the fatal gunshot wound was 'self-inflicted.'

Former Boeing quality manager John Barnett was found dead in South Carolina on Saturday, less than three months after he warned about the production processes of both the 737 and 787-Dreamliner.

Charleston Police Department have confirmed that it is investigating the death of Barnett, 62, as it emerged he was in Charleston for legal interviews linked to claims that Boeing has hampered his career and tarnished his reputation for speaking out about production issues on several plane models.

On the third day of his deposition, he was due to be cross examined by his own lawyers, but failed to show up. After enquiries were made, he was found dead in his truck in his hotel's car park.

The Charleston County coroner confirmed to the BBC that he had died from a 'self-inflicted' wound on March 8.

But his lawyer, Brian Knowles, who is representing another eight former employees of Boeing who have all become whistleblowers, said in a statement on Monday that his client died from an 'alleged' self-inflicted gunshot wound.

ANOTHER Massacre Against Starving Palestinians Lined Up to Recieve Aid

Israel commits new massacre against starving Gazans. The new attack took place on the same street as last month’s infamous ‘Flour Massacre’

The Israeli army opened fire at dozens of Palestinians lined up for food aid on 12 March, the Gaza Strip’s Government Media office announced.

“The occupation army once again targeted Palestinians waiting for aid to enter at the Kuwait Roundabout this morning, resulting in a number of martyrs and dozens of wounded,” head of the media office Salama Maarouf said on Tuesday.

“This new crime raises the number of martyrs killed by the occupation while waiting for aid at the Kuwait Roundabout and Al-Rashid Street, to more than 400 martyrs, and 1300 wounded, so far,” Salama added.

Israeli troops committed a massacre against starving Palestinians on northern Gaza’s Al-Rashid Street on 29 February. The brutal attack, which killed over a hundred Palestinians, has come to be known as the Flour Massacre.

Israel has deflected blame through an internal army investigation. Israel claims most of the deaths occurred because the Palestinians trampled each other to death trying to get flour sacks from the aid convoy. Tel Aviv also claimed soldiers fired shots at Palestinians who were “endangering troops.”

Yet the testimonies gathered from Palestinians who survived the massacre described Israeli forces as opening fire indiscriminately on the crowd, causing aid seekers to flee and trucks to drive away. Doctors at Gaza hospitals reported that most of the injured had gunshot wounds, suggesting most of the dead were killed by Israeli gunfire.

At the start of this month, the US vetoed a UN Security Council statement condemning the massacre, marking the fifth time Washington has blocked a UNSC statement or ceasefire resolution that would hold Israel accountable for the atrocities it has committed in Gaza.

US Intelligence ‘Threat Assessment’ Says Hamas Isn’t Going Away

The assessment also says Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons

An annual “threat assessment” compiled by US intelligence agencies was released on Monday and said that Israel will likely face resistance from Hamas for years to come, another sign that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s stated goal of “eradicating” the Palestinian group isn’t realistic.

“Israel probably will face lingering armed resistance from HAMAS for years to come, and the military will struggle to neutralize HAMAS’s underground infrastructure, which allows insurgents to hide, regain strength, and surprise Israeli forces,” the assessment reads.

The assessment aligns with an Israeli military intelligence document that was circulated last month and said even if Israel succeeded in dismantling Hamas as an organized military force, the group would still exist as “a terror group and a guerrilla group.” Other reports have said Israel is struggling to destroy the vast tunnel network underneath Gaza that is key to Hamas’s survival and is far more expansive than Israel initially thought.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Q. Brown, the highest ranking US military officer, previously said that Israel’s mass killing of civilians in Gaza will be a recruiting boon for Hamas. “The faster you can get to a point where you stop the hostilities, you have less strife for the civilian population that turns into someone who now wants to be the next member of Hamas,” Brown said in November.

Despite believing Netanyahu’s goal is unrealistic, the US continues to provide unconditional military support for Israel’s genocidal war, which has killed at least over 31,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

The Biden administration is trying to distance itself from Netanyahu by criticizing his government, but the rhetoric hasn’t amounted to a policy change. The US threat assessment said that while Hamas isn’t going away, Netanyahu could lose his hold on power.
