Ecuadorian voters rejected a government-backed proposal to allow foreign military bases, with early results showing nearly two-thirds voting “no” as 90% of ballots were counted. The four-article package, introduced by President Daniel Noboa, also sought broader constitutional changes.

❗️US military conducts 21st strike on alleged drug-smuggling boat, killing three

The Pentagon has revealed it had carried out its 21st confirmed strike on what it described as a drug-trafficking vessel, according to a statement from US Southern Command. Southern Command said intelligence indicated the boat was moving along a known smuggling route and carrying narcotics.
